It's well-worth listening to old Jeff Beck interviews, because his personality, lyrical speech and humour were mirrored in his guitar playing; they were inextricably linked. He was always funny and witty, but in Johnny he found a friend with whom he could be totally whacky. It was as though he couldn't cope with the seriousness and reverence for his playing all the time.

Jeff Beck's Truth was one of the great rock classics that features rock's best guitarist in my opinion and so many others. Jeff was a stunning boundless guitarist. Cool interview Steven and great to see Johnny had the chance to know and play with Jeff. RIP Jeff Beck.

I have a cold and feel shid even had to have a whiskey toddy or two , then listened to these guys talking they made my day laughing and smiling all the way. Totally agree with them if you are laughing you are living the life God meant for you , God bless them both 🙏

Brilliant , the two of them together in this interview , they are both so intune with each other it's a thing of beauty I thoroughly enjoyed this,, I love both these men it's very heartbreaking Jeff is not here with us and I'm sure Johnny misses him deeply, as do so many of us he was a genius guitar player and a gorgeous man they're both so, fun i laughed at how shy Johnny was at first and how they just clicked, Johnny i love that he insisted you sing your voice is intoxicating to me, I'm intrigued and sad that Jeff isn't with us ,but he lives on in his incredible music. It must have been heart-wrenching for Johnny to lose Jeff. When you get to be so close to somebody who is really really special and then the rug is pulled out from under you, the agony of that must have been horrific and probably devastating!!!
