Have you tried turning the iron filter down to -2? I was watching another video and that's what they done and it seemed to work.

Ultimately that’s a small coin and a great lump of iron…most vlf detectors with a DD coil will struggle with that test no matter what settings you use.

I have the Xterra Pro and target separation was a big issue for it as well. I bought the V8X coil and the difference was night and day. It would also help if you had your coil on the right way as it’s currently backwards.

I have watched a video posted by one of the users from Poland. He had a test field to demonstrate strong and weak points of various defectors. From what I understand, a solution is swiping, not only left to right but also from top to bottom. This method will not indicate silver perfectly. However, readings and audio indications will make you check this twice.

I got a Expedition Pack, came with the V8X Coil It's alot better separating metals, I only use the 8" coil, 12" is heavy and worthless

Have you ever considered putting the coil on the correct way round as yours is on back to front

I struggle to find anything of interest on digs with mine. Almost every signal i get comes out with iron from the ground. The small amount of things i've found have been because i Still "Dig Everything". The signals I get are iffy on it, which is sad as i was REALLY looking forward to moving up from the Xterra pro and gaining the multi IQ. So far, Ive been Sadly disappointed in its performance compared to the Pro. I actually said to the organiser of my last dig that the elite seems to be an iron magnet! So, No, you're not the only one having issues.
