Dark Magician in my opinion does not look basic at all. He look really unique and interesting to me. Maybe he's a fan favourite and very popular that's what you meant but i think that people that like DM not only cause he's Yugi's main card but because he is really cool and badass.

Nah the dragonmaid are not a waste of gems, the cyberdark one is a waste of gems and i bought three copies of that shet, the only good thing is that ur spell, the rest is garbage for the toilet 😂

I only just started having been playing for about 3 days. My first structure was dragonmaid and while i liked it initially i slowly started not liking it as much. The only somewhat cool moment i had from using it was in solos where i managed to summon back enough dragon monsters to tribute summon the 5 headed dragon from my extra deck and oneshot my enemy. Id play with friends and if they had the vortex magic structure id literally lose every time. Even if i got increadibly close they would always turn it around at the last possible second by summoning 4 monsters in a single phase. So i said what the hell and got the structure myself but added the monster reborn card to the deck to simply retrieve one of my own monsters back for better defense or if i managed to destroy a special summoned card my enemy had then id add that to my feild for additional dmg. I actually loved this deck bc simply having a single dark magician card i could destroy all my enemys cards or all the spell cards with no consequences assuming that card didnt have an effect related to being sent to the GY.

Lol this guy never play well. Dragonmaid at the same lvl than cipher? Vortex in B? Zombies in D? 😂 Ok many are not full for be a complete deck but come one. All the decks needs the same 10/12 space's for ash blossom and shit like that. I have friends touching master 1/2 every season with dragonmaid. Vortex of magic is just for trolling low lvl players😂. Burning only is top tier because is the base for many other decks. Zombies is pretty much the same but needs more investment and brain than burning.

As a new player I'm loving my dragonmaids deck. It's easy to play and understand and have gotten me to gold 2 so far with very little investment or difficulty.

Dragonmaid bystials is nasty I get the base deck being bad but you throw in some bystials and suddenly you’ve got an outrageous deck.

On rewatch Ive found out that thet he DID say mountain and gaslit me into thinking he didnt at 3:36.

Before you guys comment "Dragonmaid is S-tier, because dragonlink, because Seals, etc..." i suggest you guys take a look at the content of the structure deck (9:41) AND the context of it being played as it is (just the structure deck, and not a constructed deck) and you'll understand why poseidon placed it in "Waste of gems"

Imo Blackwing is S tier. True, you will need Nothung, Fullarmor Master, Arc Rebellion and Hot red dragon Archfiend abyss. But its a very good combo deck, you just tax your Opponent into submission. Turn 2 the OTK comes from nowhere. Id argue, that in a bo1 Blackwing is better than Salad, bc loads of decks just cant contest a FAM, especially if its made with the Yang Zing that gives it battle protection.

to me it was a waste of genms not getting the dragonmaid structure because back then it wasnt a thing its one of the most fun non snychro decks out there

ninjas are easy A tier, control decks dont need to have an otk to be good; at least, that's what I think.

So, of course, i see dragonmaid in F-tier, but, seeing the structure deck, i totally agree with it, despite everything, but the way it's balanced as a SD, you can't even play with it at one only

1. Salamangreat 2. Ninja 3. Blackwings 4. Dragonmaid 5. Spellbook 6. Pendulum magician Ninja, dragonmaid and salamangreat is the Best way to get into ranked mode immadiately because they are by nature are staples.dek. Blackwings requires you to craft nothung.

Wait hold on bucko, I gota say I agree with most of this list other than Utopia and Dragon Maids. Both can have powerful negations, strong utility cards, extra deck bangers . They can branch off to other powerful decks and that I would say should be... C-tier (:
