Nice animation, but i keep having the nagging feeling that breaks the narrative that you didnt use nixie tubes. the timer too moderrn
Right! I actually originally planned on getting a nixie tube clock but they’re all quite expensive and above my budget and my purpose for making this little video was to challenge myself in only using equipment/props I can easily afford/already have access to. I agree, nixie tubes would’ve been so cool!

@@nuts_mann haha yup all practical! Thank u! Yeah I used the Oppenheimer speech from here: ruclips.net/video/lb13ynu3Iac/видео.htmlsi=HMOuOE_uH2NLMw3a Then in post I enhanced the voice and lowered the background noise to make it sound cleaner
At 1:08 Oppenheimer says Rotterdam not "Notre Dame". He refers to when the city was bombed when aircraft of Luftflotte 2 could not be recalled in time after negotiations with the dutch defenders began.

Absolutely love this, wonderful sound mixing, usage of timing, and creative set design Glad to have found this golden Nugget, the only thing I could say that could make this shine, would lessen the extreme horizontal shake and balance it out with more vertical shake

This reminds me a lot of what Matt Reeves said about Bruce going out into the city at night is like Dr. Jekyll going out as Hyde, studying the results and recording them for research. Fits well with this approach, like Bruce's voiceover is him dictating his feelings on being Batman every night.
