When I tell you these two have been invading my thoughts for the past two weeks... The brainrot is REAL. I first saw this song on a Clois vid many years ago and it's just so so perfect for Ruby and James, especially James' POV as someone being frightened about hurting the person they love and pushing her away for her own safety. I wanted to show the push pull of their relationship and how they had such a strong arc, going from hating each other's guts, to wanting to be with one another more than anything.

Jane & Lisbon were loyal, devoted and fiercely protective of each other from day one. L defended J against all and sundry sacrificed her career and put her life on hold for him. J absolutely worshipped L, nothing was more important to him than her safety, her happiness, her wellbeing. If him leaving her kept her safe he would do it, he was willing to lose her to Pike to ensure her happiness and because J thought he himself wasn't worthy of her even though it was killing him. They loved each other so much that they were willing endure anything , do anything and sacrifice everything for each other that's what made them so endearing their story so touching and why we love them.
