Good work brother video every day is a huge goal 💪🏼
@@elliottwolfdrift thanks mate. Yeah I know I've set myself a hell of a goal, but determined to make 2025 HUGE!
You aren't that far out of shape. You can make a lot of progress in 8 months. DO NOT GIVE UP!
@@BackRoadStoneRevival thanks mate. Yeah compared to what the average guy at my age is like I'm not that it off shape, but compared to what I use to be, I'm long gone haha. Hopefully we keep it consistent and will see a big change, thanks for the encouragement 👍
ohh shiny
Very shiny :-)
love it👍👍👍😀
thanks mate :-)
Hey mate, I wired this relay up and went well. But have a problem where my fuel pump won’t prime unless I ground that black cable on the fuel pump carrier to the body. What can I do to resolve this, when I do ground it that why it just primes forever
Do you have a link for the Raleigh day at all, mate?
@@staticausgamer6486 wow my brain must have been fried, event is Pheasants Wood, not Raleigh sorry man.
@@nathanwbrammer all G mate. Is that the Revo day?
@@staticausgamer6486 yeah mate, Revo days are the hot ticket down there at the moment. Everyone is loving them and the events are selling out in under 10mins haha. It's the day before EDC, so hopefully some of the drivers come down and I'll have to show em the rights lines to take 😉🤣
@@nathanwbrammer you hanging out down there for EDC? I'll be in the pits with the mic again.
@@staticausgamer6486 not sure, I REALLY want to go but due to work. Gonna try to swap weekends with someone so I can make it. Last round looked sick!
I'm sure you've learned by this time, but you didn't need to be anywhere near that gentle on the head bolts. A good breaker bar would have made that a super simple job too.
Yeah I know, but I am just so paranoid about snapping one off, especially when the engine has never been cracked.
@@nathanwbrammer turns out, got to have another couple of goes at it anyway.... 😬
I could smell that last minute and a half hahaha

@nathanwbrammer cheers buddy absolutely great video told me everything I need to know
Hey mate, cool vid can you show us what wires you spliced into uo close for the fuel pump. Im about to do the same, cheers
@@nathanbosomworth5844 thanks mate, yeah I can do a video for you for sure. I'll draw up a diagram to help and include it to make it clear.
Hell yeah !!! Also don't remove A/C use a 450x300x76 intercooler that clears everything and sits perfect in the series1/2 front end, also let me know if you need tips and tricks with the turbo conversion 😊
@@M.T91 thanks mate. I'll have to measure it up tonight. The cooler I have is around 550x300x76mm but won't fit between the front frame and the fan on the AC cooler (too thick). The tank for the AC sits in the way of where I was planning on running he piping, but that is running with the intake/outtakes at the top to make it less visible. I'll remeasure for the smaller size though
@nathanwbrammer yes way to big of a intercooler haha, only thing is the AC fan needs to come out and the lower apron frame unfortunately, there is no other way around this unless it was a series 3 front end, I couldn't manage another way around it when I did my one, I can send you pictures of my set up if you like
@@M.T91 yeah the cooler is a bit of a unit but it only cost me $50 so couldn't say no haha. Def won't fit with the fan, was going to try to make fibreglass sides for the bottom skirt so I didn't have to cut the stock one. Are you inlets too or bottom of the cooler? Cause top for me would run through the AC condenser tank (or whatever it is). Would love to see photos of your setup mate, appreciate it.
@nathanwbrammer yes can't say no to that for that price haha, yeah don't cut the bottom lip of unless you have a spare one, just take it off completely to be honest, my inlets are down the bottom, would of loved to run from the top but didn't wanna get rid of my aircon or cut any holes up, yes ofcourse how could I share them with you ?
@@M.T91 can shoot em through insta or FB if you want mate nathanwbrammer on any of em. Appreciate it mate

Great video and awesome car. +30°?! Sheesh that's wild. Recommend you match your audio with the music volume. Keep the videos coming!
Thanks mate. Yeah normally set the timing around 17-19, guessing with the ECU reset and the MAF and O2 now working properly the timing got thrown way out. Was a quick edit in my phone as I didn't have time to jump on the PC, will fix the audio fit the next one's. Appreciate the feedback mate 👍
Show us the car!
@@N4kedsquirrel it's coming mate. Haven't been able to run it properly as it needs an alignment big time. Getting that done tomorrow then drift event this weekend so they'll be plenty of videos coming of me testing to make sure she's all running sweet

Mad
Thanks mate 🤘
Arent you supposed to do a set amount of reps for each day… like reps of 5 one bench day, reps of 3 the next bench day and not 5 reps followed by 3 on the same day?
Hey mate, it actually changes from week to week on a 4 week cycle with the weight increasing each week and set. Week 1 is 3 sets of 5 reps, week 2 is 3 sets of 3 reps, week 3 is 3 sets of 5,3,1 reps (less reps with heavier weight), week 4 is a deload of 3 sets of 5 reps at a lighter weight

hey mate i have a turbo r31 and silly question when putting the dizzy back on do you have it at TDC and pointed to number 1 on the dizzy cap. that might be you issue
Yeah mate, ended up double/triple checking the dizzy was lined up right, turned out to be the O2 sensor was dead, throwing the mixture right out.
Looking good nathan Well done on the videos 👏

Sorry, not sure what that means
Thoughts on 5/3/1? Anyone?
Solid program. It’s nothing groundbreaking as progressive overload of any kind works for just about anyone. If someone were to ask me what program I recommended for strength gains it would go something like this: Beginners - do something like Grey Skull LP. I prefer a variant of it where you add a few sets of arms at the end. Triceps twice and biceps once one week, then biceps twice and triceps once the next. Do that for a minimum of 3 months up until you start stalling and aren’t progressing more than once every 2-3 weeks. Novice/Intermediate - 5/3/1 which you could literally run forever if you wanted to. But id say run it for a year. And then… Advanced - you have a ton of options here but just to keep it simple, I’m a fan of 5/3/1 BBB (Boring But Big).
It’s a foundation for you to improve. I do 3 x 3 and I work up to 3 x 5 then I up my weight with rep / sets back to 3 x 3. Bi-weekly I do a power day with 1 set x 85-95% max for the most reps, then I deload to about 75-80% and do a set or two of 2-3 x 3 if I don’t have a good back pump. Generally you will if it’s enough weight for you. I only recommend this program for compound lifts
That's a nice system to work to mate
👍
started where you were man takes a while but you'll get to comp cars soon
Wish they adapted simulator controls for people with disabilities
nice vid, cool to see u progressing in just 10 mins. u should definitely try a hand brake to help u start the drift and to control it when u need to. BTW this a dlc map or mod?
Thanks mate, there's closer to 50hrs behind that 10mins hahaha, I'm always a bit rusty when I first start my session. This was the first 10mins of about an hour practice. I see to hit a point that I either get too cocky and just tired and stop progressing and going backwards. Map is Drift Playground - www.vosan.co/tracks/drift-playground-2021/ Car is Gravy Garage Beater - www.vosan.co/driftcarpacks/gravy-garage-car-pack/
Also, yeah I need to get a handbrake, at the moment I've got it mapped to my downshift paddle on the wheel but that can bit a difficult especially mid drift
when drifting this map its a lot of left foot braking and clutch control, get in the groove of clutch kicking then let the wheel free and try keep it from not steering out. I recommend the gravy garage pack for starters, coz they dont have too much power but they can send it sideways around corners. Just try let the car glide with you controlling it, makes it much easier to let the wheel glide through your hands. Try not to pull the wheel one side to enter a corner, turn it a little bit then clutch kick. Other than that, Keep up the great work.🔥
Thanks mate, really appreciate the tips. Haven't seen the Gravy pack, but I'll search it up and give them a go. I found the stock drift cars that come with AC to be too underpowered and you really had to muscle them to get them to break out the back end. Just need a lot more seat time now to get the muscle memory and skills up 👍😉
What state?
This is in Sydney, NSW at Sydney Motorsport Park, Eastern Creek
All of them trying out for the next one of Fast and Furious
Hahaha, almost feels that way. Some seriously talented drifts at these events. But it's a great community and everyone is super supportive of each other and helping each other improve 😀

Not the correct form
Hey mate, thanks for the comment. Would love to hear your feedback on why my form isn't correct. I'm always looking at improving so would be keen to hear your thoughts
@@nathanwbrammer flat back, too high lock on chest, no arch on pull up
@@WantOxide thanks for the feedback but I'm not sure what you are meaning. My back is flat and suppose to be flat, I'm not performing a comp lift. I'm not sure what you mean by high lock on chest, if you are meaning position of the bar, that looks higher than it really is due to camera angle, the bar is actually over my sternum. As for arch on the pull up, there is no pull in the movement, it is purely a push movement and you shouldn't be changing your form or moving you back whilst under load in a bench press as it creates a high risk of injury.
Hardest part is to keep it up!
Thanks mate! Yeah consistency is definitely the hardest part when either starting for the first time, or just getting back into it.
