I've been chasing a vibration on my e90 BMW with sport package around 65 MPH. I've had discount tire balance it enough times that they probably recognize me at the store and eventually gave up.. I finally decided to check the bushings, control arms, etc and I noticed this same exact thing on my PS4 all seasons. It's my 3rd vehicle so seldomly driven with a DOT stamp of 3820.

is the steering shaft always this exposed in all the cars or just this one ?

You ruined this truck. Just running a 6" lift requires cutting the cross member of the frame. The only way to run 40s on a tacoma the right way is with 20 grand portal axels. i think you need hydraulic press to remove that. You pull the whole assembly out and press out the bearing...After watching you put torch to it you need to replace whole assembly... get a manual Chiltons should cover that oh they don't make it anymore too bad...

I think the proper tool is called "Hydraulic Shop Press"

The cause of the problem is the road salt gets in between the knuckle assembly and the bearing. The bearing gets siezed into hub.

2 days? It would have been cheaper to replace the whole knuckle/stub assembly.

i have a '19 QX60 and I change the oil at 6500km or 6 months, I use Pennzoil Platinum Synthetic 0W20 with a Mahle or Hengst oil filter, I really hope this will prevent this kind of damage! I'm at 119k kilometres. The photos at end of video are really sad, only 96k kilometers to do so much damage, I expect that with no evidence of proper oil & filter changes the powertrain warranty was denied.
