Hello from the UK 👋 i'm normally a silent watcher but just wanted to say I enjoy watching your vlogs and following your journey, it's really inspiring and motivational. No races planned for me at the moment as I'm still recovering from a hip injury. I'm new to triathlon and would like to do my first next spring. Although it'll definitely be a sprint not an ironman! 😂

What a great video! Thank You so much for saying many kind things about my home! Actually, i live in Pasco across the river, but it's all one city of well over 320k. But not on high school football nights. The three cities are very competitive. You nailed it about Anthony's. Overpriced too. I've had chances to move, but it's a great place to live. We have been one of the fastest growing areas in the country for years now. People are finding out it's a nice place to live. Im so happy that it was a good experience for you and your husband. BTW Thanks for the chicken in bowl advice. I've never eaten there, but it looked so good. Im not exactly happy about them charging you 10 bucks for a potato. You're in the middle of potato country. What type of food do you eat? gu energy gels only or anything else?
Honey stinger waffles, honey stinger chews, gu gels and lots of tailwind
Leg cramps for me usually happen on the run! I'm not kicking enough to get them on the swim... If so I know I'm under hydrated
Are you running tubeless? What pressure are you running on your tires?
I am now but somehow managed to flatten it too 😢
@@Trihrdrgrl Try running around 73-76 psi with tubeless. Hopefully that helps
How do you avoid leg cramps during long 2 miles swims?
How do you know where to go for 5 hours on the bike? Like which roads and what if you need to pee? Is your iron man 100 mile bike? I think my little tri is 9 :)
We tend to try to drive the routes we will bike first. The Ironman is 112 mile bike ❤

Look after that calf, things like that tend to linger 🙈 Hope it improves soon.

I’m sick of flat tires too! So Frustrating, hoping I get them out of the way during training! I had a calf issue on my last run too. We got this!

Awesome job! To beat the saddle sores, I just wiggle a little big every couple minutes. Give the ol' "space between" some relief and adjusts pressure to different spots.
@@djdoestriathlons yes I often get those spots on trainer rides! So moving around often is key! Outdoor rides don't bother me as much
I've been here long enough for you to promise grocery shopping twice and I've been let down each time. SHOW ME THE GROCERIES! Just kidding. Yo, I hate how clear goggles look on me. When I watch footage, it just looks like I have huge cross eyes.

You got me as a subscriber with your title “How I’m training to beat my time by 4 hours”. I would like to get more info on your training. Also trying to see how you even fit training into your schedule, I feel like I get some momentum, and then different stuff happens that throws me off, sick, work schedule changes, family events, etc…Also I like how you sound like a normal person and not necessarily like training is super easy, yet you are making it happen. @@SwimBikeRunStu 100+ degrees :( I will be out soon. Safety wise I like the trainer more as we don't have many paved paths and such to ride on
Get an angled slab or another plate for under your heel, you’ll get way more ROM so it’ll improve all of your run stride, and your back will stay completely straight so you don’t have to worry about back pain. Keep grinding 🤟🏼🤟🏼

@@Trihrdrgrlalso just to add on that I used to have a wide stance which made it hard for my hips to allow me to get deep in my squat. Started putting my feet barely outside shoulder width and my squat depth improve dramatically with much more comfort. Looking great though and happy lifting!
