(Optional question to answer) Btw I see these players like you who are like good at dodging and stuff, one of the examples like the legendary "Let me Solo Her", Is it just all about attack patterns? And the type of equipment load of the character. Because I'm somewhat decent on dodging , but having hard time against the crucible knight evergaol in storm hill. I'm basically using a straight sword and shield. And godrick knight set that I can medium roll. What do you recommend for a somewhat experienced player like me or call me a newbie still.

@@jamesbarnes1647 thanks for the compliments and comparison to LMSH! Though he’s definitely far far better than me haha. Personally it mostly came down to memorization, which for me took a good number of runs paired with watching challenger runners use techniques I couldn’t think of on my own. Equipment does matter, particularly talismans and upgrading weapons, the ability to stance break enemies gives you a big safe window for damage and a riposte so I tend to lean into that With that crucible knight specifically, weapon level and vigor will probably matter the most, since Crucibles are tanky generally and hit like trucks. Be patient in phase 2 when the knight is attacking to counter, since the tail combo extensions can come out real fast. If all else fails, come back with more levels, I didn’t beat that knight until after Rennala my first run since he stomped me good the first time

Definitely one of the best tracks in the DLC, it’s so menacing sounding. Love that the hornsent and Marika might hate one another, but both say “nah” to the frenzied flame

Been experiencing the glitch a few times with OBS, sucks because it absolutely doesn’t sound that way as I’m recording. Fingers crossed the new update fixed it, would suck to grind a boss for no hit and have the recording be jank

Thanks! The spear being +8 helps for sure, but DPS on shield poking is kinda bananas. On normal runs it makes Rykard an easy first or second demigod if you want to upgrade serpent hunter a bit anyways

You got to stay on the top of the rock so he doesn’t lightning snipe you, he’ll try to fireball you at that range but after a few shots runs over. Once he gets close, run to the edge and get ready to parry, if the positioning is weird you can take cover behind a rock near the ledge to bait him away from the ledge and reset

True, holy damage only is admittedly pretty meh, though I wasn’t really prepared for how bad it would Radabeast. Mixed damage weapons like Golden Halberd and Siluria’s Tree in particular can be super strong, even against Radabeast
