i fold the wire back up the bead so no sharp buts are going to cause cuts..ive wondered about these, i saw a lady doing them so they looked loke balls, one of my macaw loves to shread up anything, so we need cupcake balls in our life 4 him..

Awww! You have a cute dove, too! I have a dove among conures, cockatoos, and more. He loves to investigate pretty, shiny and colorful things, too. People say doves are "boring. " Ha! Not even for a second. He's one of the funniest birds I've ever had! 😄

Glad I found this again! There was a company selling something like this for nearly $10! Yikes! My newly adopted super busy cockatoo needs tons of toys. He uses them up faster than I can make them. Lol

I have a green cheek conure who desperately needs to put on some weight. Both of my GCCs have tried - and hated - the baby food version of sweet potatoes. I tried that because I don't cook much, and I don't like sweet potatoes either. What I want to know is if Foxy liked the sweet potato mash right away, or did you have to keep offering it to her? If the latter, how many times did you offer it? Or did she ever like it? I offered the baby food version to my GCCs a few times then gave up. BUT, I didn't think of putting apple on top to encourage them to try it. They like apples and peaches among some other things, so I'll have to try that.
