​@@_nightmare1241 note: this isnt persay the true ending, just writers coming together to help fill in a potential ending. also been years so stuff maybe off/missing. so this maybe a mess so honestly go find clips/play the game or bear with this mess. first off srw v involves jumoing through dimensions since the main warship you as player have is the yamato from the anime star blazers: space battleship yamato 2199 which is a remake of the classic 70s anime. when you enter the otther earth mostly super robots you meet tetsuya that pilots the great mazinger. in his personal monologue later when you meet kabuto koji who is based on this anime tetsuya mentions hope he is on time. later in the game after encoutering the mycean empire mazinger zero appears from the manga which is the key to stopping them tetsuya from his reality knows what happens and tries to stop koji but too late. later the team have to fight mazinger zero while tetsuya is called away to get a weapon to help free koji which he gets the mazinger emperor. in end you succeed with koji now have full control of mazinger zero and its a beast os a mech. to add: reason mazin emperor G (just looked up the name) is able to fight mazinger zero is its an upgraded great mazinger infused with getter rays from shin getter robo, which can go toe to toe enough with mazinger zero. so shin getter robo + mazin emperor g vs mazinger zero.

@@kakizakichannel V gave a more cemented ending with it also mixing in mazinger zero story. tetsuya in V is more akin to the one here in the show and they kinda gave an explanation why he is involved, where he been an what he knows of future events like mazin zero controlling koji and how to free him. in end koji full control of mazin zero plus tetsuya get the upgraded mazinger emperor to join the fight.

V uses ZERO manga to continue the story. The true continuation of Shin Z is in Z3, where you fight Hades and his Mycene generals.

​@yuusatakehito7579 It's more like V uses elements of ZERO to complete Shin's story. Once Koji learns to control ZERO, it's back to fighting the forces of Mycenae. Meanwhile X is the one that uses ZERO as the Mazinger story's final boss, and is the focus as soon as he's summoned. The Emperor of Darkness is basically an afterthought.

Technically they didn't. This is where Shin great mazinger would have started, with Tetsuya jumping in and helping Kouji. They kinda finished the Shin storyline in super robot wars V and X tough, the writers for the show came in and gave the plot closure.
