Oh, beware of this guy. He is twisting things to sound like they're biblically true. He is adding things to Jesus sayings. Jesus could not tell the apostles everything before his crucifixion- NOT because they needed to " grow ears"/ 2000 years had to pass first-but because then the devil would get information that could stop Gods plan of buying people back from him. Gods plan to buy back the authority over all creation, death and sin. It was essential that the jews that hated Jesus kept thinking they had to get him killed by the roman empire. That the devil kept believing he was finally going to kill God. The devil knew Jesus was God. Jesus could not tell his disciples until just before his cricifixion. And even then they could not believe it. Noone had been risen from the dead in the way Jesus was going to be. And the jews did exactly what they were told to do all the way from Moses. Keep to them selves until the Messiah was born as one of them. When Jesus returned to his Father- God in heaven- the Holy Spirit who is God instructed the jews that they no longer needed to keep to themselves. The Messiah came to jews first and then to the gentiles. The Gospel is for everyone. This guy tells you that we know God and his word better than the people who was educated by Jesus himself- Paul included- did. That's not apostolic humility. That's human pride...😮

Here is the challenge… either you Kathy are right and God is not, either His word is true and or your word is, either whatever you sense and feel is measured by what you think is right or God’s word which is the standard and bastion of truth is not… Joshua said it best… Choose you this day who you will serve… choose life. (I know the fire is gonna come) but that’s ok. God is not a man that He should lie…

Matt the story you’ve shared is the message that needs to ring in the ears so loudly that the message of Gods love can be for all. I’m 68 Queer and struggling to reconcile a purpose this betrayed community. I couldn’t maintain Joy with the all the guilt and shame not limited to the pulpit from every Christian conversation. I served my AG for several years in many aspects. In my wrestling it felt like my spirit was being poisoned. Years of worship ministry and steeping into an associate pastoring opened my eyes to the true heart I felt our Savior died for. Hearing John 3:16 burned my ears. To me the “world”meant every soul Gods formed. I had to wall away. I know the Lord is healing me because my and disappointment has turned into purpose. My worship and devotions are rekindling and my faith in Jesus has birthed an intimacy that wouldn’t let me rest. My authentic testimony as God’s child needs to be shared with everyone. I,pray, for the church at large to,recognize we all have a plank. I praying God will made a way and open the heart oh my AG family to be so God love can be shared any become inclusive. A place where people can find acceptance no matter what. I thank God for men and women like you, Ray and Stan for working to bring our loving Savior to all.. My new affirming is almost closed and they are not willing to change. Baltimore needs an affirming church with a deep burden for our very gay community. These RUclips videos have been used by God to ring me restoration. I don’t know where to start. Would appreciate any thoughts you might have. I to be part of the solution and share His Love. Thanks Matt..

I have just found this beautiful inclusive mindset. I have to say I am rediscovering my joy…. This concept of inclusiveness is so Christlike to me… after walking away from ministry and quite transparently the Lord this inclusive movement for lack of better terms feels like it’s bringing me back either where I started to worship, Somewhere else the Queer community have been deprived of God’s love as God in the place of their pain and struggles. Since I’ve been listening to Stans and Rays podcast my heart is broken and this message is missing in my community. Our Baltimore churches need to be turned upside down to become fireside up.

How can I find a church near me that has this mindset. We can have an open heart with a closed mind. I want to deconstruct to portion of my beliefs but don’t want to walk away from Christ in the process. This movement lent is the message much of the world needs desperately. Being try to myself meant walking away from ministry my only option. How can I help share this message of love. Jesus died from the World (everyone) not just a church that thinks only know the way.. We a so important to God but we need to realize that so is all of mankind. Thank you for giving a voice to my deep feelings. I don’t even want people to know I’m Christian. For now Jesus is my only fellowship. Even the gay affirming churches aren’t don’t know why they are opening their door to the gay community. Thank you again.

Love the explanation of Moses and the symbolism of God’s word. The work that both of you are doing has been long in coming, inclusion and affirming definitely is a new “Vine” reaching out to so many of us that have struggled and those that are struggling now with our sexuality and our religious faith. I tuned out ministers for years and just listened to gospel music which richly inspired me. I just couldn’t listen to the hateful and fearful spoken ministry any longer because God had given me the eternal and internal peace when I was a seventeen year old now 75. Several years ago I came across Stan on Facebook and through Stan’s ministry I found Ray and The Village what a glorious finding what I had been waiting for almost forty years, maybe that’s why of love the story of Moses.😊 May God’s words be taken symbolically and not always so literally and be a blessing to us all.

And I think this lie was on purpose. I think all this was orchestrated against gay people to get rid of us, to drive us into extinction. So what it's done is divided each and every household split every single family is split and divided into because they are having to take a side are you four gay or you not for gay on and on it is atrocious So. I'm a 63-year-old gay Christian But I say this to the evangelicals you exchange the truth for a lie. And you're worship in the creature which is man. You worship in the vatican's archives and rules That's man That's not God. They also removed the chief cornerstone of the church and that was love. Thank you Kathy I'll be watching for you 🌈😇🙏💙😇

I have never heard of Kathy or this ministry. I "accidentally" came upon it today. First I want to make a comment about her view which I believe was very "incorrect" on Biblical submission. It does not mean that women have to be silent when her husband is being a fool. Or being unfaithful either. It does not mean that she /we should have no input into any matters within the home. I was also guilty of not standing up to my husband when he was being "an angry, bully" to our children and to me. I was always afraid quite honestly but I do regret that and pray that any harm that was done was also healed in our children but I believe I still have some CPTSD from it although it has gotten better and Praise God our relationship has improved greatly after 31 years. He had his own issues that he was not dealing with from his own past - trauma doesn't go away on its own - actually it never goes away. But I digress that we have to make sure that we are understanding the Bible in its correct interpretation and ALOT of Christian women/men have ALOT of ideas about how that should look - when we look to anyone but Jesus Christ as our example we will get it wrong. The proper interpretation of scripture is VITAL to a healthy Christian relationship and life. Even so, there are differences - always will be. ANYWAY, as a mother of a gay son I enjoyed listening to this interview and I love Kathy's heart. I know that my son is an amazing person and he is gay. I do believe that gay sex is not what God created for men and women to share. But I believe there are some heterosexual behaviors that are not as God intended either. I don't believe that "just because I'm married - heterosexual - we can do anything we want - everything is acceptable". Is Porn ever acceptable? or some of these other weird sado masochistic sexual acts etc. ?? I don't think so. We should lust only for our beloved spouse. But I do not believe that anything is acceptable or honoring to the Lord. I'm praying for a loophole of course that would make it OK for my son to be gay - that they discover a gene or something that links homosexual behavior to genetics. He is not walking with God - completely denounced his faith in God several years ago - most likely because of his being gay and his belief that Christians hate gay people. It's so sad but I don't give up Hope. I'm trying to live according to God's Word - I pray for TRUTH - I don't want to compromise - but anyway, thank you for loving gay and lesbian people and not being ashamed of it. You are courageous and kind and I look forward to seeing what God is going to do through that. I pray that you will stay uncompromised according to God's word but still maintain a loving relationship with this community of people who just want to live their life for God's honor and goodness and affect other's to Him - not to the Gay community but to Jesus Christ! God bless you.

@@leslielutz6028HI I just wanted to say that although there's no known gay gene there are scientific studies revealing similarities between certain structures of heterosexual women's brains and gay men's brains. Similarly between areas of heterosexual men's brains and gay women's. You can Google the studies with a search like "similarities between brain structures of heterosexual women and gay men". There are also studies revealing correlation between certain hormonal shifts and immunity during pregnancy with development of a child's sexual orientation. Whatever your faith tells you to do with these insights is another matter, but I hope you get to prayerfully look into these studies. I think it's interesting to consider that, in light of scripture that tells us that God knew us and knit us together in the womb, he knit some of us with significantly different looking brains than most. And it stands to reason that such individuals would experience and relate to the world differently than most as well. I hope your research leads you and your son to greater peace
