i feel like our generation is very feeling based rather than logic, i wouldn’t give money to a homeless man who’s going to use it for drugs or alcohol because i’ll be enabling that lifestyle, some people are a withdrawal away from realizing that lifestyle ain’t shit and locking in, why interrupt that and offer “the easy way out” even though it’s neither easy or a way out unless we’re talking death.

Or I have really bad adhd and I get lost in my own head thinking about how the chemical composition of our atmosphere refracts the light from the sun, causing the color shift that we see in the sky throughout the day. Then I start thinking about the oxygen content of the air, which is 21% ish, and how we would actually benefit from a slightly higher % but that if it when just a percentage over what would be the ideal content it could actually lead to oxygen toxicity which is where there is too much oxygen in our system. Then, I think about how oxygen is actually toxic in general, but we evolved to survive off that stuff. Then, oh look the sun's going down and I forgot to mow the grass again...

I used to be on the same side as Jelan and wanted to give to someone with a good cause. But I went to a seminar and after a conversation with someone, I see Charnae's point. At the end of the day, we're here to be a blessing to someone. If I give a homeless person money, I hope it's for a good cause like food or put towards bettering their lives, but we never know. We blessed them, now it's between them and God how they want to use that blessing. God blesses us every day, but we may not use his blessings like we should. But he continues to love us and bless us each day
