The Sooners have a slight edge and it's ever so slight from depth. If UofH front liners get injured even a small amount Sooners will exploit that weakness. And there are 4 Sooners on the Offense that are 300+ and 6, 2"+ we're talking 4+ yards a carry for Perine on a bad day. UofH has a crab QB who runs sideways as fast as an Olympian straight. His arm is deadly accurate. His read is keen and experienced under pressure. His speed is unmatched. He is UofH's holy warrior. But if they stick hard to the Read Option Herman is going to put his holywarrior on the killing line against a Horror of meat eating OU defense. It's a big risk for one game that only has a small impact on the future of UofH Big12 bidding. Respectable teams, respectable talent, smart football and a bloodthirsty agenda. Best game of the college season and its' the first one. NRG is SOLD OUT. 60K+ It will look llike SuperBowl Sunday. The world is watching.

This will be an awesome game...Houston is a great football team, OU has an extremely tough schedule this year...only a few soft games it will be a challenge from the very first snap of the season...OU should have a better offense and defence this year as Riley's offense will be more finely tuned...

Oklahoma will be the favorite in this game if it's no more than on tradition alone. I really feel for UH to have a chance to win they will have to play a near perfect game. They are on the radar now and Oklahoma will not go into this game feeling UH is a weak G5 school. Unless UH fans get to buying a lot of tickets for this game they wont even have a home fan advantage. Oklahoma fans will travel and buy all tickets they can get their hands on. UH fans aren't big league if they allow the visiting team to dominate the stands. So get off your ass and buy those tickets !!

I remember the armed forces bowl. It was the last Houston game I got to watch with my dad. He loved UofH so much, and he passed that love on to me. I miss watching the games with him, but I know he would be so proud of the boys with that last season.
