I took my favorite finds from the last video and cut them open to further inspect whether or not I found jade.

Hunting for Nephrite Jade on the Fraser River!

I'm out on the Fraser River near Lytton in this video hunting for nephrite jade. There is serpentine absolutely everywhere in this area so coming across jade itself is difficult. I spent the day finding great specimens which I will go through in the next video with some specific tests to determine what we found!

While watching Dan's RUclips video about this show ( by the way Dan has such beautiful Ocean view rockgems)I end up watching yours to see if you guys catched a glams of his booth, I love his channel and Pioneer Pauly as well, Im a new subs ❤

The “t” in peridot is like the “k” in knife, by the way…. And peridot rhymes with snow. That always bugs me when people mispronounce it…😂
I bought a geode, last summer, from a zoo gift shop. I knew that it was going to be good, because it was a rattler. I cracked it with a hammer and chisel, and it cracked perfectly! The rattle was from a tiny, beautiful druzy sphere, which I placed in a vial. The tiny druzy crystals in my geode are quite clear, and very sparkly!❤️
