Great video, thanks! Want to head that way soon. A question about the roads, would I be able to do a similar trip in a 2 wheel drive motorhome (not a campervan, larger motorhome)? Or should I rather take the SUV with a roof tent? From the video the roads look ok. Would love to do some landscape photography on those passes and wide open areas. Thanks and keep well, looking forward to your next video.
I would suggest taking the SUV rather, we were lucky as the roads were all grated a few days before we went. Especially with the passes etc just less stress in a more suitable car :) but technically if you took a few spare tyres nothing would stop you from going with a motorhome, but the corrugation can be really bad and the roads are known for eating tyres!

I dived this wreck in the 90’s. I mentioned it to my uncle, Andrew Stewart, he told me he’d tried to save the ship. He got a line on it but the line broke resulting in it running aground. Andrew was a chief engineer with the South African harbour service. He took his tug out in an attempt to save it. A steam tug!

Was actually more on the southernside of millers. Havent had a chance to dive caravan reef. :)

Kai K. Its north of the cederberg in South Africa. About 350km from cape town. On google you can look for Papkuilsfontein. Its the farm next it. Unfortunately its on private property.
@@TheRealMobyDick as most of the time. So for now no access for the public? Any plans to arrange something?
Kai K. I know the farm papkuilsfontein are keen to get people there. But on the section we were the owners dont seem to keen for full public access unfortunately.
