Bought some after market HID. The light strip, I got that on Amazon and connected it to the engine start fuse so that on start up it comes on and when the vehicle is turned off the light goes off.

Thanks brother. Finally figured out how to keep it down on the road and not go airborne. On the side of the road there’s parking spots and at the end there is small walls on the ground. He drifted off to the side and hit head on.

Yeah bro those Traxxas for high speed run will melt. The castle ones in the video are 6.5 mm polarized connectors. Those should withstand the power. I bought a separate small suitcase just for my RC cars, tools and parts, my wife asked “are you taking those😂” I said nope they’re taking themselves 🤣🤣. Definitely taking them bro. Happy birthday to your wife also. I am very happy with the 2mm body. The other body I painted gold and silver is also 2mm but, the jag body is more sturdy especially on the sides after cutting. Tomorrow I will upload the video after cutting out the body.

@@liteweightgains Good idea on the separate suitcase for the rc cars...lol. I would do the same. Yes the Jag body in 2mm is very sturdy on the sides. 3mm is a little too much...very hard to cut out.

Batteries are mounted on the nerf bars. Video coming. I did cut out the back also. I have the Jag body coming also

I had the 17mm hex adapter on it. The adapters came loose, and two of the wheel flew off, that’s what cause it to catch air and went flying. That’s why my brother son was running. He was running to get one of the wheels 🤣. I am going to run it without using adapters on it. Sorry about your crash, that sounds like a big one. Back in the shop, and back to the track!

@@liteweightgains Im using 17mm adaptors too...Traxxas ones. I never had an issue at all with them. Did you use lock tight? Anyways yeah my crash was bad. I spent 3 hours fixing it tonight including cutting out another body I had. So she's almost back ready to run. I need to be easier on the throttle....lol.

@@liteweightgains That looks like a good body for the Slash. I have some that barely fit because of the shape but that looks a lot like the one I use which is the Jaguar GT body. Your car is coming together nice. Make sure to slowly build up your speed runs. Do them gradually testing the stability of the car. A little toe out on the front. try and set the suspension up so the front is slightly lower than the back. Also have the rear stiff so it won't squat down much and cause the front to point up. The front should be pretty stiff too. Your whole car is looking awesome 👍😃
