If you muslims are so excited about this book , well im sorry to let you down but gospel of barnabas has so many mistakes in it , that’s why it can’t be true gospel because in this book its mentioned : 1.It refers to Jesus’ fast as an annual fast. The church made an annual fast (Lent) in commemoration of Jesus’ fast in the 4th century. 2.It refers to denarii, a currency which didn’t exist until the 7th century under Abdul Malik of Spain. 3.It refers to the year of Jubilee as occurring every 100 years. The year of Jubilee always occurred every 50 years (Leviticus 25:11) The only time in history it occurred every 100 years was under Pope Bonafice VIII in 1300-1343. It claims Jerusalem has docks on the sea of Galilee. Obviously whoever wrote it doesn’t have a basic knowledge of Israel’s geography. This is a mistake the true Barnabas would never have made. 4.It denies Jesus as the Messiah (Something Barnabas would never do) and refers to him as the Christ on different occasions. Obviously whoever wrote it doesn’t realize Messiah and Christ are the same thing in different languages. The true Barnabas would never have made such a mistake (He likely knew Hebrew and Greek fairly well.) *And if you accept this book it means quran is false because Jesus is Messiah in Quran*
