Hey Euan, my thoughts on some chips 👇 AP and NN - Brazil, perfect for high DNF-risk sprint weekends 3x - Qatar, strong track for MCL and MER, plenty of overtakes for a couple of extra points FF - Brazil/Vegas/Qatar if one of the A tier assets takes an grid penalty FF them in and get those overtake points

Great shout about the No Negative chip. Unfortunately I've used all my chips already, but if I still had any I would wait for Brazil to see how Red Bulls upgrades do in COTA I think. That said, I would swap Limitless and Extra DRS boost around for that reason. So Norris x3 in COTA, see how the Red Bull upgrades do and then if they do well go all in with Limitless for Brazil.

Regarding my chips, it’s gone well (apart from FF). In China, I used Limitless, which was nice, and I used the Autopilot in Monza (had Leclerc and Norris). Then I used Final Fix in Singapore to bring in Lewis for Charles, which lost me like 10-15 points (very sad). I've got No Negative and 3x DRS left, planning to use 3x in Austin and NN in Brazil (perhaps Qatar)! I've also got my Wildcard left!! :D

Four-week break, triple header, three-week break, and then another triple header. What kind of calendar is this? ☠

That NN chip saved the day a little bit, but I think I´ve got tired of postponing the Mcl trio+Ferr deal just trying to keep both Wil drivers, it seems the Sau pair just do good enough.

I dodged the albon DNF but now I'm priced out of Ferrari (ran triple MCL Double Sauber with Mercedes, .7 away from FER)

great review, euan! another race ... another DNF. that's 3 in a row for me so i've gone from the dizzy heights of the top 100 to now worrying about staying in the top 1k! i still scored 217 this week ... which i'd normally think was a pretty good score ... but i actually dropped a handful of spots so it seems there's more and more high scoring teams out there as budgets start to plateau a bit. well done with your team! double sauber must have been hard on the nerves but glad it worked out for you! 😁

HI, really good content congrats!...quick question going forward thinking for 3x for COTA OR BRAZIL, (current team: MCL MER NOR RUS ALB ZHO COL) what do you think? going with NORx3 but who do you think will score more? MER FER + PIAx2 or MCL/FER + RUS/SAI x2. got a bit of a budget restrain, i'm .5 out of the MCL/FER NORX3 PIAX2. Don't think i can make up the .5 since i'm barely into the 2 premium driver team.

I am just going to risk this round by taking the best current teams from both sides of the coin on points and price: Mcl+Will. Midfielders: Sai+Alb+Col. Forwarders: Nor+Pia (or Lec). NN chip. And pray.

About the Norris+Zhou vs Pia/Lec+Albon comparison, I think it's even more in favour of Norris+Zhou than you said if you consider that the first driver in each "team" is pretty much always your 2x, so Norris makes even more of a difference. However, my mind is stuck in the "I like building budget, I like the +money thing" even if it's not the best option right now, which is annoying lol. Also Pia/Lec+Albon feels more consistent because it stinks having Norris as your 2x in the arguably best car on the grid when he gets bellow 30-25 points. It feels really bad. But it's obviously worth it, as the numbers say. The only logical reason to not go for that is if you are trying to differenciate yourself from the Norris "meta", which I am kinda trying to do with mixed results. Rank 4178, budget is 126.2 and once again I can go triple Mcl + Sauber orrrr stick to Leclerc + Albon/Hulk to try to climb more. Thoughts ?

full of great info as always, euan! i noticed you didn't even mention colapinto in your 'b' team. no thoughts on upgrading him to a driver with more experience considering the weather and the added stress and danger that brings for the new guy? or are you not worried about him spreading his car all over the track at all...? 😂

Great thoughts as always Euan. I think you made the made the point that what we have in the bank is basically what we are gonna have until the end of the season if we are going to maximise points. Will decide on either Oscar or Charles to pair with Lando. Maybe running No Neg

Loving the consistency with your videos lately! I'm driving myself crazy here trying to decide what to do lol Currently have Pia - Lec - Alb - Bot - Col - Mcl - Fer on my Team 1 that's ranked top 6k, with 2 free moves this week I'm tempted to stay the course this week and 2x Leclerc, since I think Albon is likely to gain some more budget in particular. But next week I will 100% be swapping Lec-Alb out for Nor-Zho, and with only 0.1m in buffer room at the moment, if either Lec or Alb go down in price I'm basically locked out of that. Think I should just make the swap this week instead?

Great videos!! Running Nor 2x, Pia, Alb, Col, Zho, MCL, FER. Got a $3 price rise in AZE & only have $.3 gap, so looks like the only chance may be Zho to Bot. Praying the sessions are dry/damp as I’ve already used my NN.

I'm loving these videos. It gets me thinking a lot about my own team lol. With the driver/budget segment, I think NOR+ZHO. Norris is just to valuable at the moment. Triple MCL with FER seems to be the way to go from what I am seeing (if you can do it). Regarding team 1, that's a tough one. I want to say NOR, but given their recent form (combined) the PIA/LEC would be tempting.

Enjoyed the video. Thanks for the insight. I'm not too sure about K-Mag for this one. His strength is Overtakes, and Singapore is hard for overtaking. Triple McLaren would be very tempting. I want to bring in MCL for my team, but the only way I can do that is: NOR (x2), "RUS" (for PIA), COL, BOT, ALB, "MCL" (for MERC), FER. My concern however would be if something goes wrong and MCL get a DNF. This would be my worry if I could run triple MCL. (I'm probably playing to safe to be fair though. Still scarred from Monaco with the whole HAAS, Perez incident). At the moment I'm covered from all angles with NOR(x2), PIA, COL, BOT, ALB, MERC, FER. Plus last year was Sainz, Norris, Hamilton, Leclerc. So IF Mercedes can bring their game, great. Providing Russell doesn't stuff it towards the end this time or course lol. I think Albon is safe for Singapore, but maybe not for COTA. Obviously, need to wait and see over the weekend. Thanks for the video. Look forward to more. Good luck for the weekend.

Great video as always. I will most likely just make one move this weekend. Either stick with mer or swap to fer. Want to have 3 transfers available for cota as well as I might rip of the 3x drs then. Running with some momentum now and climbed to 8.8 k rank now :)

great points, euan! i also fell into the TSU trap. that's 2 races in a row now that he's cost me a bucketload of points and tbh he's been pish for the last 3 races. huge RED FLAG for me now and i'm never having him in my team again. i really really wanted to swap him for Colapinto last race but i talked myself out of taking a -10 hit and convinced myself he couldn't DNF twice in a row. way to go, me. 😆

Keeping Pia - Bot - Col - Mcl - Fer constant, which would you do?: 1. Hold onto Lec - Alb for one more week, swap them to Nor - Zho for next race's sprint to 3x Nor and 2x Pia 2. Swap Lec - Alb out for Nor - Zho now Thinking of just holding onto my team as it is now, only scare is that if Zho rises 0.5m and Alb drops then I'm priced out of Norris since I just have 0.1m buffer room as prices sit now

I'm def stuck between running PIA/NOR/ZHO-MCL/FER versus PIA/NOR/BOT-MCL/MER or even could pull off LEC/NOR/ZHO-MCL/MER. But really not seeing MER bringing in the big points this weekend. Could be exciting to run a NOR/LEC or to get rid of the risk of ZHO for BOT but it almost doesnt seem worth it to have to keep MER over FER as constructor this week.

Mercedes cars were so different back then, so I still think they are worth to keep unless Ferrari does more magic on free practices. I have a question, ¿The NN chip would be best to use in Baku, or in Singapore?, I am planning Singapore, but who knows.

Good stuff as always Euan, I think your LEC RUS FER MCL would give you the best results and probably budget gains with the amount you have in the bank. Looks good to me. I"m debating dropping Lando and going with LEC PIA FER MCL for this and Singapore....depending on all of the obvious factors...

I have a similar team to yours with a budget of $122.2. I’ve got Nor, Rus, Hulk, Alb, Col, Mcl & Mer. I could get to Lec, Pia, Alb, Col, Bot, Mcl & Fer. This would cost a -10 as I have 3 transfers. I was hoping Mer had more left last week.

I've found with Stroll that he seems to perform better when he qualifies lower. I.e. Overtakes. The second K-Mag image made me laugh 😂. Cool video 👍

Hey, new to the channel. Cool video. I updated my team earlier in the week to incorperate both McLaren drivers, Ferrari and Mercedes. My budget is about 119 million. X2 Norris, Piastri, Colapinto, Bottas, Albon, Mercedes and Ferrari. Sorry if my math is wrong. It's very late, but if you also sacrificed Gasly (and a 10 point penalty) as follows... Russell, Gasly and McLaren (total: $57.3m) You could then bring in... Piastri, Ferrari and Bottas (total: $55.8m) You would also bank a little for Singapore. Also, Norris is leading DotD and Fastest Laps, so if he delivers, another possible 20 points. Ferrari are second for Fastest Pit Stops, so again, if they deliver, could be a few more points 🤞

It’s a no go for Reb Bull for sure! Probably the top drivers and teams are McLaren and Ferrari. Merc can maybe pull something but it’s a toss up

Hey Euan that is pretty exciting to be at Baku! hope you have a fantastic trip and session there. My team is 124.2 million, so I can't really relate to either of your teams. I'd consider a COL BEA pair on my team, but two rookies is a bit nerve wracking. Though apparently bearman has done quite well at this track. But would i trade HUL for him? seems foolish... Not sure. Great content as always buddy!

I highly doubt BEA will come in at 15M again - there's no way anyone would buy him! I think the price of MAG is also too much as there is no guarantee the BEA will qualify low and move up to get those overtakes, and he is a high DNF risk. I'm guessing he'll be a new HAA asset for around 8M. Early team selection thoughts at 119.2M with MCL MER 2x NOR PIA ALB COL SAR are MCL FER with 2 of NOR/LEC/PIA/SAI, but definitely keeping at least one of the MCLs.

I just went to the Italian GP and saw Ferrari win at home! It was awesome. I have a couple of tips - bring earplugs, as they really take the edge off the sound, and bring some snacks because there are probably very long queues for food trucks. And if you want to buy merch, don't buy it from the official F1 store because they charge around 20% more on most products. I got the black Ferrari Monza cap for 60 euros (expensive, I know) but the F1 store was charging 75!

I managed to squeeze out 250 points so happy with that. Looking forward to Azerbaijan and I hope you get a great time there. Been to some F1s over the years, Hungary this summer with my son, then I’ve been to Silverstone, Spa, Singapore, Monaco. Really want to hit Austin but debating with my wallet if I should do Austin or indy500 instead 😂

Awesome content this week Euan! Almost a little worried you have too much time on your hands 😂 I'm running MCL MER 2x PIA RUS TSU ALB SAR with 0.0M left in cost cap and 2 free transfers. I used my wildcard in Austria to save a -40 so I unfortunately don't have that available. I could change TSU to HUL and SAR to COL (assuming COL comes in at less than 5.7M) and hope for a 0.5M rise, but apart from that, there isn't much I can do with 2 free transfers. I could get to NOR or FER for a -10 or both for a -20. This is such a tricky situation! 😬 I'm a Ferrari fan going to Monza (literally on the way there right now!) so I want to buy FER this week as well, even if it's not quite the optimal choice.

This Sargeant situation is messed up. Current team is: MCL/Merc - Nor, Pia, Mag, Hul, Sar With 2 moves downgrading Mag to Gasly or Hulk to Alb I could bring in FER! BUT I would have to do it right now I guess as the game probably wont let me log a team with an inactive driver. Tough as I wouldnt be able to react to free practices like that! 😢

It may not be fair to say Zhouguanyu should lose the seat before Sargent. Makes more sense if Sauber can be kicked out of F1😢

Thanks for a good episode Euan. I’ve almost decided to just use one transfer this weekend to have 3 for Azerbaijan. With that said, who do you favor between Tsunoda, hulk or gasly? (currently with Tsunoda in the lineup)
