Revenge is as if the mountain would be actively be plotting against you, although its your own doing and speed that makes everything neckbreakingly dangerous as well as revenge has the implication of clouding your senses or being blind with rage. I had close death experiences with climbing and diving and the way to overcome it I rather referred to as confrontational therapy. Let me emphasize that this is just a suggestion in order to not picture the situation as your enemy.
