This channel focuses mostly on Industrial game play in Star Citizen including mining, salvage and cargo. There is a beginner section where I'll be placing videos for new players, as I feel that there really isn't alot out there for the new player short of the how to make money fast. For those that want to just experience and enjoy the game, the beginner videos will focus on that.
On the industrial side. There will eventually be a variety of videos to choose from that will range from tips and tricks to full feature runs with many different aspects covered.

3.24.2 There's quant in them thar hills!
With the release of the hotfix on 10-25-24, Surface mining is back in business. I set out to find out if it was working, and determined it was. The first patch I found contained a 12.3k rock with Quantainium in it. We'll Crack the rock and pick up the Quantanium, after which we'll refine it and include the use of Regolith.rocks to track our refining jobs.

The server lag any better now I haven't fired that game up in years
It wasn't bad at all while I was playing, But like anything your mileage may vary. So far the latest hotfix seem to be working pretty well.

Good review. The CL has become my daily driver, replacing Cutlass/ C1 and Valkyrie. It's refined. Nice to be in, good lighting, great detail and quality of finish - flies well with excellent visibility. I put the purple haze paint on it, looks dope.

It may be useless now, but we have no idea what effect it may have later. But the beauty of SC is that we don't have to buy anything we don't want.

Well, not quite, but the f something version will be. But I can see it being useful for building.
Fuses didn't want to behave for me, in any ship I had that has them lol.
Yeah my experience so far is that they need more work.
Have you tried putting in 8 SCU? 4 & 8 have the same footprint.

The cargo grid it only one high. 8 scu doesn't snap. 2 scu boxes do though.

@malachiashley528 seems like that would defeat the purpose. When I look at will it fit, I'm looking at still usable in all aspects
Iyo, today, does this vehicle have any value in the verse?
At this time, I think it's only valuable for unloading from the ship to the cargo elevator if you don't have an ATLS. However, I don't think the value is worth much for just that. I can see it being more valuable later on possibly, but we'll see.

@@Boamac I think this 'truck' looks cool. But cannot see a reason to pick one up in game (out as lti of course) I wish they do something with the Mule. It's actually decent to drive but also kind of useless
Seems like a truck to loot bunkers/ distribution center armors with. Transport stuff around base building or player space stations… outside of that it’s a gimmick replacement for the mule imo. Vehicles like this should be free but…………………….
how do you just like have your land vehicles in a hangar??? did you transport all of them inside of a ship and do they stay? I didnt realize personal hangers were persistent yet
They have personal instanced hangers now on your initial home. once you call them up, you can move them off the hanger floor to the side and as long as they aren't on the hanger floor area where ships are deploying, they persist.

Also depends on the size of your hanger. I have the extra large hanger because of the reclaimer.
Hmm I have a medium one for the zeus. I have a Connie and a star lifter but those are bought in game so I don't get the large hanger but I got it in. I I spawned it in the hangar and moved off the platform and then spawned the Zeus in and loaded up@@Boamac

I agree, I really thought it would be bigger as well. Firepower I'm actually okay with as it's an exploration ship.
If you got friends that does Vaughn or VHRT missions, ask them if you can tag along for salvage :)

Did they change refineries a bit? I don't remember ARC-L1 being good for Quantanium, and now I see it's +3%..
I haven't checked that, but I would assume they did if that is the case. I'll have to do some research.

Theres a known bug: having an ATLS on your ship will prevent it from being stored.. You have to remove it... IC report is out there..

I don't see why RSI don't implement a forklift or something similar instead of players having to laser-transport things from one place to another
My guess would be that the tractor beam is easier to implement.

It appears that is the only way currently. They haven't setup for the refinery to delivery to your storage yet.
Thanks for the video, I've been monitoring this game but waiting on Squadron 42 to drop if they ever figure that out. Maybe late 2025 if I'm lucky... I want to play the story (if it ever drops) and then hop into online.
@@BIackCadillac understandable. There is a lot of content in the pu. Honestly, I believe they'll feel like 2 completely different games
That's the intention of how they want people to play it - Squadron 42 is intended to be an introduction to the game and tutorial (of sorts) before dumping you into the PU. So that definitely would be the best experience.
I would tend to agree, Unfortunately, i've never been that patient. And I enjoy the pu. It will also be interesting to see if they find a way to transition players from Squadron 42 over to the PU. on release.
@@Boamac Initially it was supposed to be more or less a seamless transition ... but that was like 10 years ago - I'm not even sure now, everything has changed so much. I explored the PU a year or so back, and did enjoy it, but I'm trying to be patient enough to at least get to a beta state with a few more systems perhaps before hopping back in.
What SCU size do the refinery jobs produce? Also, if you ever want to crew up and mine sometime id join you my mole.

Watching your video satisfies any desires of playing, so now Im good and don't have too. Maybe 3.25 will be worth my time.
From my experience so far, 3.24 isn't bad and with the various fixes etc... coming in 3.24.1 it should improve more.
Could not get mole bags to go on in hangar or on sloped ground. After removing the prospector bags, they wouldn't go back on either. Might be worth a try again after a 3.24.1 patch. Also mining bags still fall through the elevator, so I had to take them off a mole to attempt. Mole bags do go back on a mole, so suspect it is a prospector bug from attempting to disable use of mole bags on a prospector.
That's a possibility. So far I've heard conflicting reports that some have got it to work, while others haven't. Hopefully they get it fixed, or come out and say that wasn't an intended feature. One way or the other.
Do you think using a Maxlift tractor beam could help ?
It might. As I said, I was looking for normal everyday usage. I don't think having to do work arounds are fitting for that as you could end up spending more time then it's worth.
I got mine on the salvage possessing deck
When i test, i'm looking for ease of use. I probably could get it to fit if i tried hard enough, but it's not practical for anything except just leaving there. I would actually prefer to have it in the salvage hold as processing is used.

It was said at the time, the Endeavor concept would be the last ship they promised would be in by release. That being said, I agree they can't keep pushing the new ones back more than a year or two after 1.0 release. I would expect a refund on any ship that wasn't available within that time. We have concepts that people have been waiting for 5+ years after spending hundreds or thousands of dollars for, like most of the capitals. I wouldn't accept store credit The loaner program is great but after the game releases, it just isn't good enough. After 1.0 every ship sold in concept should be available in game within a year, maybe two if it is a capital. I really thing they need to expand that team. Even the ships that are in game, many are not complete. They hyped 1.0 for the sale and six months later still haven't told us what to expect with it, terrible way to treat the customers. Half are hyped it is "soon" and will be disappointed, and the other half are worried it will be thrown out as a half-baked mess just to call it released.
We'll have to wait and see how they do it. I think they've dug themselves into a hole. Unfortunately, they seem to think more concepts is the solution. In reality, the existing backlog would sell well if done.

It can, but for some people the symbol they are using now is hard to see. And for others, approaching to fast can cause them to not see the rocks spawn in.
