Interesting, I finally see my home town on the internet :) You even drove past my place :) Lindsay is ok. It's main charm is it is safe weather wise. It is QUIET too. At 5 in the afternoon, everyone disappears, the town's downtown closes for the most part. It's dinner time and the streets are kinda empty for an hour or so. Most nights past 12 the place is mainly deserted. There are a lot of great eateries but NO nightlife. We have the Sir Sanford Flemming college that offers world class courses. But the town is today mainly a shopping for supplies place. Very little industry remains and the tracks from my youth are gone. Anyone over 60 will find Lindsay a good place to be. Anyone under 30 will have no desire to be here.
