I know translucent PETG is not completely, however you can still see the individual Leds the trick is making it thick enough and printed at the angle that will properly defuse the light uniformly.

For the afterburner I plan on printing the exit aperture then applying layers of thin JB weld for a preliminary test. It might not last long but long enough.

@warmachined3472 for ignition I would try either a glow plug or the wire inside of a hair dryer

I have a few out there which one are you talking about? The two Anets' on the toolboxes you could have but they would need some work after being out there so long, the Ender 3 I am going to Bowden for TPU.
