    Great that you are learning Dutch! Also compliments on your pronounciation, it is a difficult language to pronounce.

  • @wqltr1822
    @wqltr1822 12 дней назад

    3:46 In dutch, if you start the sentence with an adverb (bijwoord), the verb immediately follows after, even if before the subject. This would make it: Vandaag regent het buiten. Not: Vandaag bet regent buiten. This sentence is also fine: Het regent buiten vandaag (Here the usual word order is retained as the adverb 'vadaag' is not the first word) But also don't do: Het regent buiten vandaag (It sounds a bit unnatural)

    • @wqltr1822
      @wqltr1822 12 дней назад

      I just found a way to explain the last one. On one of the websites you were looking at it said 'adverb of time + adverb of manner + adverb of location', 'vandaag' is an adverb of time and 'buiten' is an adverb of location. That is why 'Het regent buiten vandaag' sounds weird

    • @Cranberryjyice
      @Cranberryjyice 12 дней назад

      So since vandaag is an adverb, het regent(verb) immediately has to follow after.

    So many grammar errors and you don't seem to notice them at all. Even although you can see the subtitles. - 'cruiseship' should be 'cruiseschip' - you forgot the c - 'turkiye' should be 'Turkije' - the t should be a capitol and the iy should be ij. - 'andacht' should be 'aandacht' - you forgot an a - 'voor van man' should be 'van deze man' - you corrected it wrong. And so on. Google Translate doesn't help here. It just corrects the mistakes. Rather odd, because if I use Google Translate it points to the mistakes. But I use the translate page. You can search for a video on a channel using the magnifying glass. You van also click on "videos" to see all the videos of that channel.

    So werd - past tense, worden - the basic form, wordt - present tense Dankjewel! Your explanation is super clear

  • @mick7560
    @mick7560 Месяц назад

    15:53 Hi! I noticed you mentioned that "wordt" is the past tense of "worden", but this isn’t correct. Let me explain it simply: In the sentence "Eerst wordt alles goed gecontroleerd," the word "wordt" is actually the present tense of the verb "worden", not the past tense. It means "everything is being checked first" in the present tense, and it’s used in the passive voice. If you want to use the past tense, it would be "werd". So the sentence would change to "Eerst werd alles goed gecontroleerd," which means "everything was checked first." Now, about the +t: In Dutch, when you conjugate verbs in the present tense with he/she/it (hij/zij/het), you add a +t at the end. So for "worden", you get "wordt" when it's used with he/she/it or similar subjects like "everything" (alles). I hope this helps clarify things! 😊 Keep up the great work learning Dutch!

    There are some spelling and grammatical mistakes in the file, for example draagen is spelled dragen. And in the sentence ‘er is de te veel tweedehands kleding in Nederland’ the word ‘de’ should be removed. And there are some more but it’s alright.
