Honestly, as someone who leaves a lot of his projects unfinished (especially the MHA ones because of a similar falling out with the series), i relate to this a lot. Still, as much as i enjoyed this AU, the closure is nice and i understand where it comes from. I hope you have a wonderful time for any future endeavors you may take :D

I’m working on my own AU at the moment that originally started as the concept of what if Himiko was a Hero hopeful/ how would that happen, which lead to the idea of a story of Himiko having a chance encounter with a Quirkless girl named Tsuyo and becoming heroes together as a big ol’ middle finger to the system. But that’s arc one, arc two is canon plot, which, admittedly, I think about a lot. Mainly because of the friendship between Tsuyo and Izuku, the pairing is hilarious in my mind. But recently (about a month ago) I thought, “what if there are other Quirkless kids at UA, how would Izuku and Tsuyo react to them?” And I kicked out three more characters. What was created was this basically trauma bonded group that care, trust, and give support for each other in ways that a Quirked person couldn’t. For Tsuyo, she’s been through this setup before and is just hoping to all the gods that this group doesn’t end like the last three did. But Izuku changed a lot from the support, mainly in he became a bit more confident in his skills and departed from trying to be a mini-All Might sooner. And I can’t help but think that a bit of that confidence would take shape as some part of this AU’s Izuku. I’ll see when I get there. Wow, that took me a while to say, “I like this Izuku and am inspired.”
