I'm a guitarist/songwriter originally from Hungary, currently living in Ireland. I have been the guitarist and main songwriter of a melodic death/thrash metal band called Casketgarden for 14 years (1998-2012). I'm still writing music an playing guitar and also have interest in music production, so my more current videos are in line with these interests.

The Lundgren has less lows, that's about it. You could make the V8 sound pretty much exactly like it with a bit of highpass on the DI signal. This makes the V8 more desirable and versatile as you can remove frequencies with an EQ, but you cannot boost what's not there. I actually prefer the chugging on the V8 in the full mix; it sounds more interesting, more "muscular". In any case, the differences are microscopic.
