I like how the prologue presents Sauron as commanding legions of Orcs, and then in the first episode of the next season that isn't apparent seeing as he's stabbed to death by all of them for some reason

Rewatching this scene years later, for me, the most disturbing part is the way the suit keeps forcefully pumping him with immunosuppressants, 2 at a time, becoming more and more frequent, barely keeping him up for a couple seconds before he needs more and more and more and more. Absolute banger of a show dude!

this movies is a legacy. Her acting is not like no other especially the character Ripley. It's so amazingly acted, the effort SHOWS she BROUGHT, BRINGS and DELIVERS everything to life, especially " get away from her , YOU BITCH"

Funny thing is is they could have attacked at any point that was like an offer of peace and Ripley wasn't having it

What made David truly snap was the innocent woman he killed after offing that corpo guy, afterwards he saw she had a son that was going to Arasaka school as he did and seeing that reminded him of who he used to be and the bond he had with his mom and from that he literally lost it, and what made it worse was Lucy later being abducted. that made him only more driven into his crazy mindset of cyberpsychosis which in the end I guess you could say he didn’t exactly have it anymore cuz he spoke to Adam Smasher pretty clearly..but so did Maine before he died and for a moment beforehand he let it go after Lucy kissed him but anyway the really real start of it all..Just like Maine, It was the shaky hands that created the beginning of the end

David against Smasher tbf Smasher has like a 100 years maybe slightly over plus worth of exp and on top of that he’s 100% non organic as stated so him using his tech or “chrome” compared to David there’s no risk of cyberpshycosis because what actual mind or brain is there to corrupt it’s all a digital construct of what was once real. Which is also how he physically pulled the digital attack from Lucy out of his head But aside from that you have to give points to David although it wasn’t head on David lasted longer in battle than most do against Smasher and in the end even got an off putting way of approval from Smasher if you could call slightly considering making David like him asfar as a fully chrome modified body an “Approval” but man Night City Didn’t deserve David as a NC Legend bro deserved his happy ever after with Lucy, but I figure the only way a main character of the Cyberpunk universe will get that is if it takes place away from Night City cuz I swear that City is cursed NO ONE gets a happy ending there. Even in the game there’s no option for a good or even Ok ending it’s one bad/sad or the other you either sacrifice V, Or you sacrifice Johnny but either way somebody’s dying or has to leave behind their chances at living.
