Container wood Workshop build narrated pt 3
Part 3 of 3 in my workshop build.
The final of the 3 videos showing my container workshop build.
This one is a super straight forward one. Making of my worktops, bringing in of larger tools and shelf making.
There are many additions and alterations I have made since finishing up the filming of this and I have documented those. those alterations can however be videos on their own at a later stage.
What I will do next week is post a relatively simple video showing a shop tour and how I get work done in this space. It has been my most requested video so I thought I should probably put that out to the world.
I made use of my iPhone 13 mini and a Gopro for this video.

Container wood Workshop build pt 1 (Shop sounds only)
Hi,my name is Timothy,i stay in Port Elizabeth, i also do woodwork but have a full time job cutting grass
Thanks for showing us how it all went. Looking forward to your shop tour
Thank you Nick! Will have that video out next week!
Finally,a South African guy that does woodwork on youtube that i can follow
Dear sir,do you stay in South Africa
Hi, yes I am in South Africa.
Hi Greg. Marnis here. Im looking at purchasing that exact bosch glide mitre saw. Is it worth the money? At this stage its more on the cheeper side of that range of mitre saws. I have alot of Festool products but cant se myself paying over R30 000 for the kapex
Hi Marnis, for the price it is great. Just make sure to get all the angles fine tuned out of the box.
better have a saw stop
Love these videos!
Thank you sweetheart!
Do the workshoop tour
Maybe add a small wood burner to heat the place and help get rid of offcuts ?
I would love that! Space might be a little tight though. I’m also terrified I forget it burning and somehow burn my shop down😂
love these kinds of videos, you should lower the sound when using electrical tools though :) makes it alot more pleasant
Thanks for the suggestion, will keep that in mind for the next upload!
Nah bc i would mess this up in at least 100 ways
Wowza look at where you started!!! So impressive Greg!!!!
Thanks Em!
Damn, that’s was a lot of work lol
It sure was!
I am jealous. That articulating chop saw, sander, shopvac and drill/driver by Bosch, I can only wish. The wall sockets tell me you are in Germany.😢 Please send me your old chop saw or any tools when you upgrade. Bosch tools cost a small fortune here.😢
I am in South Africa so I unfortunately cannot help you there. You are right though, they are expensive.
Looking forward to the next video!
Will be uploading in the next week. 👍
Японцы молодцы!! Доказали,что не только машины у них качественные и хорошие!! Но и пилы,стамески,рубанки и другой столярный инструмент на высоте,но так же и соединения одни саммых сложных,надёжных,красивых!! Респектище!!
Tenha um ótimo projeto !
Good job
Buy a new saw blade
No mask??
Not when I don’t want it.
Damn man. Doing work in that heat. 😅 GG
Muito bom!
Shorts & Crocs/barefoot - yup, he's a Saffa. Lekker bud!
😮
You must have re finances your house for that wood.
Surprisingly this is one of the more affordable woods in South Africa😂
Very crisp, nice work!
Thank you! Appreciate it!
Nice work man
Thanks Josh! Hope you’re well!
Rubio?
What did you use for the ebonizing? Good to see a fellow South African woodworker. Lekke man.
Glad I’m not the only one! Nope, I used a mixture of vinegar and steel wool that’s been sitting on my shelf for a while now.
where is that naughty mustache?
Bom!
In wich County are you in?
Que es?
How does it wooooorrkkkkkk????
Essa broca que você usou antes da serra copo é assassina... Deus me livre.
Yup, not my favourite tool.
I didn't think you could use mdf for building things like this?
Yeah, so long as you paint it properly it’s all good.
looks great! worth the effort!
Looks sick. Can't wait for the finale.
Cool channel brother. Keep it up with the good stuff! 🙌
Which table saw do you have? 🤔
What do you listen to while you work?
Lots of different stuff but have recently listened to the lord of the rings audiobook trilogy.
Idiot?
Sparks bud. Wood shouldn't spark. Check the screw positions
No you’re wrong, that’s definitely the wood.
@@gregstockwoodwork What wood is that? I've never seen anything like that.
I am just kidding, I made a mistake and hit the screw, luckily no harm with the Freud blade.
@@gregstockwoodwork 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ouch,,,lol
If you're right handed, why wouldnt tou get a right handed saw so you can see what your cutting?
Fantastic comment Ben!
Cat is adorable
Soooo satisfying to watch tbh, and the cat is adorable!
Thank you! He really is quite cute.
Nice work brother
Hey! I really enjoy your shorts, I can’t belive that you just have 170 folowers!!! The people out there are losing a lot 😂
Thank you! Appreciate it, luckily I have a few more followers on Instagram😂. Starting here though, hopefully it will grow!
Stumpf geklebte Gehrung? Na ja...
Hey smart guy, watch the next video to see the spline that gets glued into the mitre joint.
Hey, smart creator, name this then "part one", so we know we are only half way gone.🙃
Nah
