Biggest mistake ever made, HBO cancelling Rome. If they had done the 5 or 6 series envisaged and completed the lives of Titus and Lucius they would still be making a lot of money. Never mind the box sets when they were popular. Many years before downloads came in properly. What a waste

I don't know if there will ever be a match to this onscreen brotherhood. It was truly something to behold and brought intensity and emotion to the Rome series. Ray Stevenson was perfect casting as Pullo together with Kevin McKidd as Vorenus. I can only imagine the bond that was forged between them in crafting this incredible historical drama. In a word, they were masterful together. RIP Ray Stevenson.

My favorite Ray Stevenson role.. He played this HBO Rome character exceptionally well. Big up Ray /Pullo... Was a thoroughbred actor who's roles you bought into and really believed. The 13th ⚔ ⚔️👍

The best buddy show ever
Two great actors in a great show. In fact the entire cast was on top of their game.
"I hate you" he says. "I hate you too" comes the reply. "Beer?" He pushes a pint across the table. "Yes thank you." Nearly all division between Men simmers at the edge of anger and the upper threshold of disappointment. Genuine hate is only reserved for genuine enemies, of whom we spend some effort avoiding. Why? Because it's soul draining and useless to squander such energy in vitriolic spite. Making things is a man's purpose. When Men can agree, we fan the embers and ignite the forge.
Rest in Peace Ray Stevenson. What a charismatic actor and how perfect for this role.

A superb actor in everything I saw him in. Loved Rome when it came out. Perhaps it is time to dig out the BR and watch it again.
