For my Dress i would have chosen same as you, the Cartier Tank but in Large Quartz for a more timeless look. $3450 usd For my Statement piece I’d have chosen the Breitling Chronomat GMT for $6150 for an iconic case and bracelet design and versatile diver/gmt function. And that leaves me with $400 for an Everyday watch. For that I choose any Citizen Promaster Diver Eco-Drive! Versatile for everyday that can be worn with a bracelet, nylon or rubber strap! Cheers man!

I have rolexs full gold 2024 date bluesy and the Tudor reverse panda's wear the panda more. For steel watches most dont realize that it cost tudor and rolex about the same price to make. One is 3 times as much. Go figure.

Got my Panda on today,price gaps only matter on resale.

I do agree that I would want Rolex over Tudor IF I have to choose between the two only and IF it is my only watch. But as a person who owns both brands I am happy with Tudor for the quality at its price point~😅

These two watches are going after completely different aesthetics. It’s apples and oranges. The Tudor by no means feels or looks cheap. If anything the Rolex has been cheapened by countless knockoffs that all look nearly identical. The warm matte hues give an understand and elevated feel to the Tudor. Rolex is obviously the goat but this discussion would be more relevant comparing the sub vs the new monochrome rather than the heavily vintage inspired 58 gilt. Tudor is no longer the “poor man’s Rolex” it’s Toyota to Lexus and some people prefer a Landcruiser to an LX 🤷🏻‍♂️

You don’t own either. If you did you’d recognize the high build quality of the BB58 at its price point. Both Sub and BB58 are different enough in appearance and wear to coexist in a collection. I love my 124060 and waited 2 years to purchase, it’s an icon that I’ll have for my lifetime and give to my son. I also own a black BB58 and it is also a great watch but for different reasons and not a replacement for my Sub. The 58 is so well made and perfectly proportioned for a sports watch. It borrows from classic Tudors and Rolex without being a slave to an exact copy . It really is its own thing. The gilt bezel gives the 58 a warm feel, the red triangle offers a pop of color paying homage to the Tudor Big Crown, the chunky coin edge crown is so satisfying to wind with a refined matching coin edge bezel and I love the snow flake seconds hand. It’s different from the more traditional lollipop style. By the way, 39 mm is on the smaller side for a modern sized sports watch. I think anything smaller is playing vintage territory.

You're so right! I actually visited almost 20 different Swatch stores and couldn't find it. I was lucky to get this one at Rome airport, on my way back from my honeymoon. I think the availability will improve over time, especially with the new Moonswatch designs coming out.
