the sound level is poor !

I have the basic model can I buy the gps as an extra or is it part of the model?

Can you buy extras for the basic model ? Like the gps?

I've got the actor plus pro modal I've owned for around 1 year it's only used in France as I'm fortunate enough to work on a fishing complex. Out there it's been an absolute god send never had one problem even going out over 400 yards it's helped me catch more carp than I could ever dream of including a personal best of 58.11 .it's certainly worth looking at if you're in the market for a reliable boat at a every reasonable price point.

Picked up my first entry level Mk4I second hand and very pleased with it. Fitted your spreader and works a treat. May work up to a Vulcan , but as was my first boat the Mk4i is a great start.

Is there a way to make hoppers open at same time as seams there’s a delay on the Vulcan

I have an Actor MK4i. Ive had it for 3 years and all Ive had to replace is the rear hopper servo which I replaced myself easily . Ive fitted mine with a rear hinged hopper cover to use pva in the rain . Ive also used Go-pro arms to fit my Deeper over the prow of the boat . This being centralised allows the boat to steer in a straight line and being on the front it allows me to drop the rig without any possibility of it tangling around the Deeper . The Actor MK4i is a fantastic little boat that does absolutely everything I need it to do , and I didnt need a mortgage to purchase it . I wouldn't be without mine and can recommend the Actor MK4i as being a solid and reliable little boat .

Sorry to hear you had problems. But imo the customer service is first class and always respond to any queries. I would definitely recommend.

Have a Basic. Works fine, but… Both the release arm catch (that swivels) on the rear hopper, and the motor that drives it, broke within the first year. Had to fix both myself (and at my cost) cos’ seller showed zero interest, and unable to find any central contact at Boatman who would,respond to me. Would not recommend at all.

At last , I've looked at several different types from other companies , but I heard (I forget where) that Boat man would be making one specifically for their boats . Well done Boatman . I will DEFINITELY be buying one for my mk4i Actor .

Your boats do not take the amount they state. And are poorly made from my experience.

The water must be going in because there are air bubbles coming from the rear right side of the boat !

Well I must have a reject one because the GPS is nowhere near accurate as it claims to be remote controller does not charge the full capacity doesn't flash as exposed to when charging .cheap Chinese plastic junk very bad customer service the worst I've ever experienced be aware before you part with your money

Can't even do a quality control on these boats mine turned up loose screws bumper hanging off remote charger would not charge to full capacity GPS is nowhere near accurate as made out to be disappointing cheap Chinese plastic junk

Can you charge 2 vulcan batteries at the same time and how long would that take?

Do any of the vulcans have sonar fitted? Or can it be fitted as an add on?

Very nice. Did i hear that these handsets / pcb were going to be made in to the other boats in the range , or was it going to be a retrofit for the Actor and Actor plus boats at some point?

Is there an option to turn the handset beep off or lower the volume of it?

The benefit of the store direction function seems fairly obvious to me. You take the boat out to the desired spot, use the funtion to save direction before opening the hoppers, press the button again to do a 180 and then send the boat back in a straight line for 1-3 minutes whilst you sort your reel. Its essentially an autopilot for the return journey. Pretty handy.

What about soild bags

Hope the lanyard fits the remote at the bottom ? Used a mates Actor MK4i yesterday and found the lanyard attached to the remote at the top a bit of a pain !

I like the shore directional button, can see me using that a lot. When reaching tight spots and dropping load, it’s ideal for just turning around and coming out instead of using the joy stick 👍
