Thank you for your question. As I continue with my FK8, I am more attached to this model. Don’t get me wrong, the FL5 is a great car as well which I like the interior and newer technology. But knowing the FK8 is the first US Civic Type R in America makes me feel more appreciated owning one. Overall, it comes to what would you see yourself driving. The FK8 or FL5? Either one is still a great choice. Good luck on your future CTR!

Turbocharged with almost full bolt-ons. Just need some upgrades such as fuel injection/pump, larger turbo and retuned. Doing this can push to over 500hp but some ppl I know have engine problems at this level. For now, I like mine at 400hp

@@ErickFK8 I see now. Just converted to E85 on my Camaro. I'm NA and was wondering what to expect power wise. It's making about 500fw

Not too sure about run flats. One good thing about the Type R is it came with an air pressure flat fix kit in the trunk. So this helps repair temporarily until you can get it fixed properly. And getting a Type R is a great idea! Good on gas, modifiable for more power and it’s a Honda. Good luck on your future purchase 💯

What’s SUP! Thank you for your questions. Since the release of this video, I really have not removed the plate at all. It is very sturdy when mounted properly. I mostly hand wash my car so hard to say what would happen in a car wash. The screws are fairly long but not sure about the mounting on the front bumper. Seems some manufacturers are leaning away from catless and if it is high-flow catted, it seems it is fairly restricted with air flow. Thanks for watching and good luck on continuing your build.

@@ErickFK8 thanks man yeah after watching your video I started to see there all discounted on none catted version.. so that makes me think should I just gut my oem cat? Hammer and long flat head screw driver and that be better then there 800$ catted downpipes?

I’ve done a few canyon runs and the feel is really good. It is somewhat squeaky when normal driving on roads but is expected with these pads. Overall, it’s pretty good. Thank you for your comment and watching the video.

You have the p3 pads correct? I pretty much have the same setup, and on some mountain drives, after driving pretty spirited, I would start getting crazy vibrations when braking. Any similar situation? never happened on oem rotors and hawk pads.

@@yoimseb4755 are you still experiencing this? do you have the P3s on stock rotors or paragons?

Never had vibration issues. Maybe uneven pads occurring as time progresses? Not sure what can be happening.

@@sarmadhares756 yeah, it’s pretty annoying cause it seemed to happen pretty early on, havnt been driving that aggressive lately but when I do it still does it. I have the p3 on the paragon rotors. I wanted to switch out pads and see if it changed but I got lazy haha gonna try project mu pads I bought

Thank you for your question. As time goes on, I’ve learned to appreciate my FK8. Being the 1st Civic Type R model in the US makes me realize that I just enjoy it more and more. If you feel the FL5 is something you like, go for the trade. But for me, FK8 is something I’ll hang onto. I appreciate you watching the video and supporting the channel

Thank you for your question. When we installed it we think that it was for the earlier model (2017-2019) FK8 as this car was the later version. So maybe it didn’t fit properly causing to do more modification than necessary. Or maybe we just love modifying for fun. Lol. But I think the Mugen lip fit may be an issue but we never tested it.
