while im glad songs like Purpose and Apex of the World are popular (they are amazing) its a shame fr that this song, march to deliverance, and twilight of the gods are forgotten and thats just from this game

Twlight of the Gods was super popular when it released what are you on about, the old videos before they got taken down had millions and millions of views.
I have NEVER heard a song with such a unique time signature in a game, at first I thought it was an error on my game card until I found that it’s deliberately 7/8 time. I already love the song but the time makes it so much more fascinating!!

It starts in 4/4 then transitions into one measure of 5/4.. I really love this song! It’s so unique! Is also reminds me a lot of A Dark Fall from FE Conquest
You may want to check more videogames then, loads of orchestral music in games is written in odd time signatures. Go check the Nargacuga theme from Monster Hunter World and try to count the time signature for the first section of the track or Tigrex's theme from the same game.

A shame Engage is the literal worst Fire Emblem game in the franchise but at least some of the music is decent enough.
@@Cue-Ball. "Literal worst game in the franchise" my guy have you played anything before the 3DS era? Shadow dragon is absolute cheeks even remastered and 6 has some of the worst balancing and story pacing of any game. Not to mention how goofy the original Gaiden was. It's not the worst by any stretch, objectively speaking

Funny enough, although Echoes' battle tracks are amongst my favorites of the entire series, no other track from the game comes back to my mind either frequency as this one does. It's simple, only a piano and a cello, but it's enough to be my favorite out of the entire score and the most memorable. Whenever I search inside my head for "Echoes", it's this one that encapsulates the game's overall vibe, these are the colors that O recall. This one screams "Shadows of Valentia".

God I forgot how hard echos music went
I've been rediscovering it lately and all I remember every time I hear a song from the OST is thinking "damn, this is amazing" the first time I heard it At the time I hadn't realized just how special the music was, I just thought it was something neat
and without much effort. The simplicity of a Cello and a Piano is more effective than expected. Never again underestinste that duo.
