I was so swollen, many stitches, and no painkillers after the birth. My second birth was much better

I never went no contact with my parents, and I truly love them both, especially now that they are both passed on... BUT, I often look at my own health issues AND mental issues, and how they mirror my parents health and mental issues, and I can't help but feel like, "What on Earth made you feel like you had the right to create children and pass-on/instill these things into your children... (just for reference, both were non-working hippies with severe mental deficiencies, and severe health disorders and both were severely religious((which is no way to raise a child who has to live in a society that is increasing atheistic)) and neither of them felt the need to ever try and broaden their horizons and learn anything new) So as much as I love and miss them, and do not mean to disrespect them, they left me totally unprepared for the world and the life I would have to lead if I didn't want to live in their same level of poverty... As horrifying as "Eugenics" was, I can't help but feel like, 'Why were these people not only allowed to have, but also raise children.' I believe in taking responsibility for my life, but I can't help but wonder how much further I would be if I was raised by people who had more useful lessons to teach me... Still, I do love and miss them...

I was very young when my son was born. I did the best I could, but I really did some things totally wrong. My son is in his early 40’s now. We had a very serious conversation considering my shortcomings. I told him I was so sorry for hurting him, and that if I had it to do over again, there are many things I’d do differently. We decided to move forward with some counseling, and that we would do everything in LOVE. That means really working on getting along, because we DO love each other. Trying to even up the score NEVER works. There is NOTHING I wouldn’t do for my child. That was true over 40 years ago, it’s true NOW, and it will be true 40 BILLION years from now.

Most folks today are beyond fed up with the antiquated “Authoritarian” parenting style, which very closely resembles narcissistic personality disorder. It may have served its purpose when your child was an infant… or maybe if you own a dog. But it’s no longer acceptable to treat a grown ass adult like that, period! The delusions of superiority and infallibility, the whole “I can’t be wrong!” thing, along with the controlling/manipulative behavior are simply no longer going to be tolerated by most people.

You are going to get my opinion because you made your stupidity public! The sign that read runaway truck ramp means it was made with sand to stop a semi truck with no breaks! People like you cost lives making other stupid people like you think it's OK to use park camp and or picnic on these ramps putting their lives as well as the truckers life and others on the highway in danger!
