The BCM developed a fault and was setting off the horn hazards and wipers randomly explained more here VW T5 hazards randomly flashing ruclips.net/video/MYkItSK9b2A/видео.html so the issue I think was probably dry solder joints on the BCM motherboard the company just refurbished the unit no mods were done.

I have learnt to live with the issues that I talked about, the orbs and stars never got any better sadly but my long distance remains perfect and I can read a phone but I do struggle so I tend to wear +1.5 reading glasses. Hope all goes well for you

My first visit was 1999 so like you I have found memories of the magic. It’s still there but in pockets. We are currently in Lombok and apart from Kuta so far really feels like the old Bali, in fact we have found pockets of Balinese communities who have moved here to remove themselves from over tourism. We aren’t going to Gili T, Air or Meno but we have been to the Southern Gilis a few days ago and will be going to the western Gilis later this week. I take it you no longer travel?

But in brief it was an absolutely amazing van but it didn’t offer what we think we need for our next big road trip late this year early next so we thought only best to get something that will suit our needs. ​i see no reason to stop you using a bigger memory card ( I haven’t tried) the recording process deletes the oldest video on the fly so to speak circular deletion

We no longer have this van but it had been welded underneath. The problem with them is they get parked on grass. We weren’t so worried as the welding did look good. We now have a Ducato Benimar which is much higher off the ground and is immaculate underneath

⁠ I couldn’t answer your question properly but this what I can tell you the car version of this screen has worked from multiple 12v car cigarette lighters with no issues so you should be fine. But to be 100% maybe contact lamto themselves
