AWESOME!! Was wondering if this show had ever been recorded? I was there and it was one of the best concert experiences I’ve ever had. Great show , beginning to end! Warren played roughly 4hrs - never missed a beat , was always in tune etc. BTW , this solo album is very good , I suggest checking it out.
On certified fire on Rockin Horse my god!!
Supreme jamming.
Trane!!!
REAL Mule Living Breathing Beast in its prime Warren makin those tubes beg for mercy Matt & Woody F-150 truckin RAW&HUNGRY
I think broken promised land is among Warren's best writing. I remember seeing a print ad (back when those were a thing) from Warren when i was a kid - i think it was in a guitar magazine - he had lost this specific red strat somehow (stolen?) and was offering a reward for anyone who could locate it. Hopefully he got it back, though i don't recall ever seeing him using it after the mid '90s. Anyway, he certainly ended up finding his sound with other guitars. good stuff!
wonderful stuff. The Colonel always in my heart, see, I'm just a guy in the middle of nowhere in West Spain and yet The Colonel, Jimmy Herring, Jeff Sipe, Oteil and all the guys shaped me as a musician and as a person in many ways believe or not. Thi8s really is far beyond music. Is pure art and a way of living, The Colonel Bruce Hampton's way. God bless you Bruce ❤❤❤
Thank you so much. I wish I could get a DVD of that show. I was there. Brings back great memories. Thanks again.
Muuuuuuullleeeee !! 🔥🔥🔥
The woody era of Mule is still my favorite band ever. Saw em like 30 times. I miss those days. RIP capt. Al
James "Burrhead" Ferguson on Bass.
Tinsley at 5:24 - Early in the Morning from Storm Warning Tinsley at 19:22 - Cut You Lose from Storm Warning 32:36 ?? Bruce at 37:15 - All Night Long 44:41 ?? Thanks for the memories. After 34 years my memory of the show is a little fuzzy - like memories of most of my ARU shows are the late 80s early 90s.
Yes! I remember this show like yesterday. Thank You!
Those were the days. Sitting on a bar stool 10 feet from Woody.
Wow! Coming up on 30 years!!!!
Bud Snyder Telstar Sessions!!
great band fantastic first lp
Woody !! What a player. I remember those days fresh as ever. It was like a breath of fresh air!
Make it seem so easy ,
Warren playing a Strat?? I always assumed he came out the womb with Les Paul in hand. Of course he could play a toy guitar and he’s still sound amazing.
Yep - he played that red Strat a lot , back then - switched it up with the LP he bought from Gibson factory in Tn. For several years . I think he played it a lot in the AB’s to differentiate the sound from Dickey a bit - but they did play dual LP’s quite often
I saw them this same year in Portland Maine. Mind was blown
Saw them in Boston, with the Screaming Cheetah Wheelies as the opening band. Talk about high-powered, intense rock! Amazing show, love Warren!
Yep - SCW were a great band , shame they didn’t continue further than they did
This was one of the greatest rock bands of all time!!!! I put them up there all the all time greats!!!
Thanks for the great work!
1:02:07 "what the F*ck"
Herring is one bad MF!
Thanx for sharing. Puff n pass! 😊
Loved this band first time I seen them in 1993 Roger Williams Park in Provisence. Excellent all around show TY
GREATNESS LOVE THEM KEEP ON KICKIN' AND ROCKING MULE ✌️ 🍑.🍄
Oh, that Warren Haynes....someone recently asked me if I thought Warren could read music....my answer: Music reads Warren Haynes!!!
Who is this? Is this Stretch?
Whats up Gents? Long time no see
From the beginnings in Bradenton Florida!!
This is the real deal. GOV'T MULE. W/ ALLAN WOODY on Bass. No power trio came even close to The Mule ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤.
an ass kickin 3 pc band
incredible how you can hear each instrument individually if you want to.
That's why a power trio is so badass
He sounds great here. Early Stuff is the best. I feel Warren has got away from the big guitar sound.
Outstanding ! Thanks ✌
I just stumbled onto this, thanks for putting it up. Great memories, got to see Allen play with them 3 times, each time touring the 1st 3 albums. An absolute revelation. Mountain meets Cream meets the Allman Brothers meets Zeppelin. These guys did not give a f*** what they looked like, it's all about the music and the tone. Allen's bass growl made our drinks travel around the table by themselves. Just so soul-filling glorious. Music fo' yo' ass!
Where's woody???
Warren is the complete package!
Thanks for posting this, I was living in Athens playing a lot, and later I even got a chance to play with both of those bands. Actually the date (I believe) is Friday, November 3, 1995. But it sounds great whatever date is on it.🤟
I would give a TESTICLE to see these guys at this time period. Warren sounds ridiculously good. You just don't hear this level of straight up talent and musicianship at all nowadays. RIP WOODY.
Thanks for this!!! Mules peak!!!
Warren on a Strat sounds like Warren
PickUps on that Strat are actually stacked (Lace Sensors) humbucker’s, and are a lot like a Gibson’s, thus don’t sound like a Fender.
@@robertdillon9989it's not the plumbing, it's the plumber...
I remember being at this show. I specifically remember the rolling thunder bomb that came from Woody when he hit his first note. Sounded like a huge space ship landing on top of the Cotton Club. Thanks for posting!
Who are the band members?
Seems like I have this audio on a drive somewhere - cool to see video.
Wow!! I love this
