I love a lot of new R&B too, but I think subject matter is one of the things that made old R&B better (to my ears). If I can't listen to it around my parents or kids, I don't want it. Even though R&B was always a little risque, the disrespect wasn't always as blatant as it is now.

The old r&b had R and B. Now it's just AI songs and the artist just changes a few things here and there. However I don't miss every 90s R&B singers in their videos with them sitting on the side of their bed at night singing with sunglasses on and the buttons on their shirt undone.
