Thanks for the recommendations. I also prefer studies that are more academic and less just answering questions about how the passage makes you feel. I’m also not really into the pretty aesthetic that Daily Grace Co does. I’d rather have charts and tables instead of pictures of flowers and cups of coffee. I did pick up their Christ in all of scripture study to do in 2025 so we’ll see how it goes.

Your plan sounds amazing! Love the idea suggested in other comments of seeing how you organize your day around your study.

Should be studies to be plural instead of possessive use of 's.

Great video! I tend to study on my own with commentaries and exegetical sermons from trusted and biblical teachers on RUclips, but these studies are great recommendations. I am getting ready to finish the advent study from Daily Grace Co and am already looking forward to doing it again next year. GOD IS SO GOOD! We live in a time where we are truly blessed to have so many amazing resources. I cant help but think about how the early church operated without our amazing tools.

I love Habakkuk too, studying it was really impactful on me in 2020.

These tips are awesome. I’ve never color coded my table of contents according to genre but it makes sense. I think Alissa Childers or Melissa Dougherty had a really good guest on their channel talking about thst and it makes sense knowing the genre because it will inform our understanding on how to go about discerning what it’s saying.

The God of Creation now has a video. I think Jen Wilken's studies are difficult. The questions are hard to answer and there isn't any place to go for help. The videos don't help with the questions either. Just not worth it for me.

I only have the one journaling bible I started with last year. My first bible 💜 now that im done reading cover to cover I will be retiring it and getting a new one. It was a hard decision because I treasure my notes. I am the opposite, I have a hard time having more than one at a time. Just how my brain works. I do have another which is not for notetaking which I have next to my nightstand for prayer or reading before bed. Interesting how things work differently for each person. I did love your tip on using your older bible for sermon notetaking. Will definitely be using it for that and not feel guilty for putting it aside 😅

Beloved your going to maybe think I am a weirdo but listen up. As I am writing this I am balling. I am 40 year old chronically ill mom of 5 and things have been very hard for the last 13 years since I have been sick. But in the last t years things have turned for the worst now I keep praying as a new christ follower and everytime I think things will be okay it get worst but as I have been learning I ha very to be pruned and I know my story will help others as a young widow at 27 and head of hold a sick it's alot but possible with him right.... I need to hear this tonight because I am having a hard December but he has a plan anyways thank you I will continue to have faith in all his promises and when it's harder just keep focused on him because the trap are going to come that's part of life but having him by our side makes it bearable....Happy Holiday beloved Love the channel and I like these videos as well..❤
