I did root touch up spray for about the first 2-3 inches then did a big chop - super short! It’s been 14 months now since the final dye job and my hair is similar to your cut but all silver and white. So glad I did it that way. I see way more people who hang on to their length for fear of hating a super short cut, but why? Freedom baby!
