You can make your own handbound notebooks using the Book Edges dies from Mama Elephant! I am sharing 2 notebooks, one is a sewn notebook using a Japanese bookbinding technique and the other is a classic spiral bound notebook!

The mat itself will not stick to like a glass mat or anything if you adhere the alignment guide. Am I correct? I appreciate the details shared in this video. Love these mats by Waffle Flower. TFS!
Hi! Thanks for asking, the answer is it depends! The alignment guide on the small 4.25x5.5 mat is larger than the actual mat, so no, it will not stick to the glass mat with the guide. For my larger 6.5x8.5 mat, the guide is smaller than the grip mat and leaves about a 1/4" border along the edges so I think it can still stick on a glass mat (I haven't tried because I don't have a glass mat). I don't have the other sizes so I can't say anything about those, but I hope this info helps!

Sorry about the technical probs with the blog! I will look into this! But let me answer your question here: I do like this larger size mat because it can grip my 6x6" stencils!

This is so darn cute! I can’t believe this is your first video. It’s amazing! So many great tips! I had no idea you can make shrinky dinks with a heat gun. Such a plus knowing you can make a single one without putting it in the toaster oven! I love that you included the things that didn’t go quite as planned (shrinky dinks flying around, beads getting stuck) but the card still turned out perfect! I hope you will continue to create videos. I am subscribed and looking forward to them!
