Was it protest against Jallikattu ban or Modi?
What started as a peaceful protest, against the ban on Jallikattu by the youth and students without any party, religious and caste affiliations was hijacked by Tamil separatist, Jihadists, India and Modi haters !

Great blues! Each one doing his bit beautifully. Fine musical experience!
Thanks for this. Wish I could've been there. 😎
2 heavyweight guitar players, plus Eric Demmer and a great horn section and band. Carlos and Gatemouth, r u kidding me! Greatness!! RIP Gate, gone in 2005
Thank you for sharing
Who’s on keyboards?
top
Straordinari
PLENTY OF TRASHY NOISE BUT BROWN GIVES SOME PEOPLE A CHANGE TO SHARE THEIR ABILITIES TO THE PUBLIC. BROWN HIMSELF SHOULD PLAY SOLO AS HE IS GOOD AT GUITAR AND VIOLIN.
=🤔🤨🤗☺🤩😃🎹🎺🪕🎼🎸🎺🎻🎷🥁🎸🎶🎙🎤🔊🦻👂🎵🎧💯‼ G-G.
Carlos was originally a blues guitarist, hence his Santana Blues Band. Good to see him kill it on the blues here.
Imagine having Carlos Santans backing you up and getting off on your music with a Hugh smile . You are good 😊
Gatemouth is always killer, but man that piano player is tasty as hell. Wow!
The smile of Santana at 2:59 😍
Mr Brown has Amazing Talent !
I love it. Forcing Carlos to rethink the blues!! Too cool.
Dear Lordy!
Awesome
Happy 75th Birthday to Carlos Santana!
5:08 Gate starts up with his blues fiddle 🎻🔥
Wowww. Carlos can play the shit out of the blues. Awesome 👍
WOW!!!!!!.....
When you're TEXAS like Gatemouth, you just have MEXICAN friends. Natural.
Carlos has soul!
Carlos's smile at 7:37 says it all!
Carlos wow amazing as always
Who are the other musicians?
Speechless !
This is soooo mellow. It slowly sucks the brains right out of your head and you don't even care. (Yes?????)
Great performance but why the 50ms delay on everything? Weird.
They all compliment each other real well This here sauce is real tasty Oh my this is real good Thank you for posting
This is fantastic! Carlos changes his characteristic style and plays pure blues, Gatemouth kills it on fiddle and guitar, and... I really have the highest respect for Eric Demmer on sax, he takes a short solo but my hair stood on end... the tone, the soul of that man. I don't know why Eric Demmer is not a superstar himself, recognitionwise I mean.
❤️ this is spectacular, what a talent Mister Brown
Best Blues fiddle I’ve ever heard. Gate had such a unique style. You can hear the T Bone influence but Gate threw in a touch of Cajun and country. Truly one of the greatest multi instrumentalist Bluesman to walk the planet. Great to see these young guys laying it down. Carlos is diggin it big time🇺🇸
Not Arf.
GOOD STUFF... Shalom from Israel
My my my my my my !
Amazing!
2:58 carlos smirked to his fellow bandmember as clarence tweaked his notes....much respect....
Absolutely great song, great version of it, nobody does it as well as Gatemouth, and what talent joining him in playing it!
Thanks for this post! Grateful for RUclips!
I did the sound for Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown several times when his band was Gate's Express, later known as Louisiana's LeRoux who had several hits, including "New Orleans Ladies" written by guitarist and lead singer, Jeff Pollard and bass player Leon Medica.
Now that's cool! Any stories?
Wow, your a lucky cat.
Lucky! Fab musician. One of the best!
Of course "Gate" and Carlos are great, but so is that whole damn band!
Это пуля в башку, после что-то слушать вообще невозможно ... Великолепно!!!!
What? Can't be.
I knew Clarence from Beale st , he used to sit under an oak tree in the middle of the square and play day and night , this had to have been an awsome experience for him ,and not to long after when this would’ve been ,he passed with a mardis gras style parade. God bless Clarence “gatemouth”Brown .
if you don’t like blues, then you don’t like other genres.
What planet was this guy from?
excellent.
I had the pleasure of working a venue Gatemouth played four times in a couple years. That was During the eighties. Twenty years later he hadn't lost a beat.
Char'es Mingus used these lyrics on Devil Blues (he gives Gate credit for the lyrics) on his "Changes One" album from 1974.
I knew I heard that somewhere else, that mingus track is fire
