If you're getting into shotgun shell reloading, and you've already researched the two main methods for getting the top of the cartridge closed, roll crimping and star crimping, roll crimping is probably the easier to start with, if you don't have a lot of space for a shotgun reloading machine. With a small selection of relatively small tools, an electric drill and a blowtorch, you can get started with reloading shotshells.
We start off with a discussion of the components used, because there is some variety to choose from, and then move on to some tips to reliably produce nice roll crimped shotgun shells.
