Man, it's been so long.. yet people still questioning how Pochita works. Really it's so simple and right on the surface. I'll try to explain it very short. Chainsaw-Man feeds on 3 sources of power. 1 - main source of his power is humanity's fear of chainsaws. This fear is what gave him birth and if you took it away, he will die. This fear gave him a weapon - chainsaws and a name Chainsaw Devil. Very basic but fearsome weapon. His name and the item of fear he is representing is only strong enough for him to exist but nothing more. It's not strong enough to give him godlike powers. So it's pointless to think about what chainsaws might represent or how they were used in past. That's not what makes him so strong and fearsome. 2 - the source that gave him unparalled strength and resilience to all damage is cannibalism. He ate all known devils in hell. The stronger the devil is the more power you will get from eating his flesh. And he ate all of known to humanity devils. Cannibalism is what makes him so strong physically. It's why no one can stand against him. Not even devil of Hell nor Makima before she used his weakness by taking away his main source of power. Finally as the third source he feeds by the fear of all known devils, whose fear is Chainsaw-Man. Because he is the most fearsome of them all. More fearsome than a devil. It is what gave him ability to erase devils trough cannibalism. It's why they call him Chainsaw Man and Hero of Hell. Because to them he is more fearsome than a devil. Because no devil ever bear the power to erase their kin. Their fear of getting eaten by him, eventually manifested in the form of their fear to be erased by getting eaten by him. It is why all devils have one thing in common - they all remember the sound of Chainsaw Man's engine before they die. This fear has been ingraned to their consciousness. It's really that simple. There is no Deus ex Machina behind this all. The answer is not in the name of the devil, but it is in what he represents to all other devils. He is the manifestation of their fear, not of humanity's fear. They call him Hero of Hell not for his name.

7:00 my theory is that Fami intentionally brought them to food place, colluding with Barem. Then revealing Nayutas head and possibly feeding Denji Nayutas body trough the Sushi to make him hate food, playing into Famis hands. We know she is looking extremely suspicious when Asa asked ehr whats going on. And Barem was a high-up person in the Church, wich Fami was the shadow leader of. This would activate Famis ability, wich we only know she needs to starve someone of either food or something metaphysical for her to turn them into her pawn.

5:45 Makima just needed him to transform. What Barem is saying you need a base mount of fear for him to transform. Makima just had a plan B that if Pochita is too strong she would run essentially an ad acmpaign for Chainsaw Man by releasing the fact he kileld the Gun Devil. Fujimoto is not contradicting anything. And the plan of the Chainsaw Man Church makes sense, because to a certain point now we know they are after the exact same objective as Public Safety. Barem is just in his mind following Makimas plan, while Public sAfety is doing something similar but just not the same extent as Makimas plan.

Cristain and Alicients affair never happened in the books. I'm pretty sure that the writers did this and made them a thing just to please the shippers and to make Alicient and Cristain look like hypocrites. House of the dragon is incredibly bias painting the greens as evil even though they have a rightful claim to the throne. And painting the blacks as more heroic despite them being equally as bad if not worse. Damon killed his wife and groomed his own niece he's no good guy.They did this to make the Greens look like hypocrites so fans will root for team black more.

If Cristen Cole continued as he was in Season 1 he would be a stale ass character. His relationship with Allicent, in my opinion, is great writing it depicts two important things to me, 1. Individuals who portray themselves as virtuous and honourable are capable of breaking with their previous held notions of what it means to be "good". 2. The house and politics are breaking down the two characters to the most base level of their desires, pleasure and power. This leads them to forego their responsibilities, and run their war + kingdom without thought and reason.

I think the direction for his character with honor and a sense of justice gets corrupted by the end of season 1. In Season 2 it shows that's he is corrupted unjust and dishonorable.
