I built Scalemodels just for fun. Mainly military Aircraft and Helicopter. Also i built Bikes and Cars sometimes as a pause from Military Subjects.
F-18 C - Academy 1:32 - Build Video
My newest Project is finished.
It took about 1 Year to built it.
I used a lot of extras and aftermarket stuff, like Aires Full Cockpit and Canopy Details, Eduard and ResKit Weapons and also many 3D Parts, designed by Fancherello. Thank you my Mate.

Hello Scale Model Fans, today i want to show you my favorite build till far. Its a MH-53E Sea Dragon, Machine with the Codename "Vanguard" i build a few years ago from a 1:48 Scale Academy Kit. Damn, i was assigned to HM-14 and worked on Aircraft 551.
I was a junior tech in the day, but retired with 16 years of the MH-53E under my belt, the rest was on Hueys, SAR.. great aircrafts.

Great build. But I grew up a Navy brat and have seen my fair share of Naval aviation and have never seen an aircraft so filthy. It seemed they generally kept the aircraft very clean.
It really looks great and the details on the landing gear and the dashboard are awesome

The Academy 1/32 F/A-18c is a beautiful kit and the builder of this kit did a really great job with the build . I think , IMHO , that he was a little heavy handed on the weathering , even for a Marine bird . In trying to incorporate all of those weathering techniques it's a little over the top , but that's just my opinion .

Thank you. I cant Tell exactly because i forgot, but it was like dark greens, ochre and desert yellow paints. I just watch an original reference pic and mix the color with the colors i have on my bench. Thats the approach on the whole model. I do not use the color Informationen provided in the instructions.

You should consider making longer videos explaining and showing how you do it. I subscribed after the SU27 video and I must say that you are very good at what you are doing.
Thanks for your kind words and the suggestion. I will consider it. Problem is the Motivation to record most of my work, as my projects are mostly long and there would be just too much Video footage. Editing this stuff would be another side hobby and in my current situation i just dont have the time for building up a professional YT channel.

It really looks great, I am just building the Hobby Boss 1/48 scale SU 27 B and need to try out your painting techniques, It probably won't be this high quality. I just built the 1/32 scale Trumpeter Mig -29 , I air brushed the blue, light blue and grey camouflage scheme and decided to use some black panel line wash, I accidentally didn't dilute it enough so I had to respray part of the camo scheme, it finally turned out good. There are some real great deals these days on Hobby Boss and other manufacturers 1/18th scale jets and helicopters, I just built the 1/18 scale Harrier and it was only $114, I am ordering the 1/18 scale F-86 from Hobby Boss and it is only $98 and the 1/18 Huey helicopter is $82. I just put a plexiglass shelf 12' long and 3" wide over my 1/18 scale diecast car collection, It should look great with the aircraft models flying over the cars.

Thank you. Mainly Mr.hobby. i mixed them by my self to the correct shade of the colors.
