Man, the synthesized "vocals" add way more to this than I could have imagined. It adds some liveliness to it, like we're hearing the fight happening. I lile the imagine that small "come on!" being Ryoma cheering Oboromaru on.

I'm so happy to see there are people aware of such a hidden masterpiece like this one. With some luck, SquareEnix will make a remake of Treasure of the Rudras, just like they did with Live-A-Live. I don't know much about Live A Live, but from what I've heard, Odio incarnations are supposed to be incarnations of hatred, specifically relating to humanity... ...so what would an Odio incarnation be like in Undertale? Would it be an incarnation of monsters' wishes to see humanity destroyed, or an incarnation of the hatred humanity had for monsterkind that led to the war? Either way, I can't see this incarnation being the Genocide boss - the "incarnation of monsterkind's hatred for humanity" would probably be the Neutral final boss (you defeat Asgore, and then rather than Flowey showing up, you have to defeat this thing in order to ensure monsterkind's goal to destroy humanity is stopped, because otherwise they'll just do it the next time a human falls), the "incarnation of humanity's hatred for monsterkind" would be the Pacifist final boss (you have to defeat it to ensure the monsters can live on the surface in peace. Perhaps the Barrier itself is this incarnation (or this incarnation is part of the Barrier and is released upon the Barrier's destruction), and it's only revealed to be alive once the power of seven souls is about to destroy it - the power of seven human souls makes it *able* to be destroyed, you still have to defeat it afterwards). Genocide, then, would play out like Oersted's ending: you get to become one with the Barrier incarnation and use it to destroy what remains of monsterkind (and then the entire world).
