Thank you for this absolutely agree with you, I fight at 1 8 5. I used to fight at heavyweight light heavyweight but I'm getting back in shape I'm walking around on 190 I'm thinking about dropping to 175 for my next bare-knuckle boxing match

We have a couple pairs of hawks and other super cheap gloves for guys/kids to use who either dont know if they like boxing or flat out cant afford any. If youre there long enough to get tired of your hands smelling bad, weve had guys help people get better gloves thatll last or someone always has an extra pair theyre willing to part with to get an excuse to get some new ones

I had the pros, first pair I had to return within a a week,5 uses. The tread was coming off. My second pair has lasted about 2 years. They quickly gained a lot of wear but have held up so far, barley. I do love them but I wish they were built a little better. Also, brand new the tread was slipping allot especially if I stepped on a small drop of sweat, which may be true for any boot. Overall I enjoy them, won my first competition with them. Wouldn't buy them again though sadly.

Dam somebody likes hayabusa lol. I have a number of these gloves on this shelf, but those rivals on the far left are my go to sparring gloves right now. Love those for sparring. I buy cheap gloves too, but I only use them for light bag stuff. I've bought like 5 pairs of the same cheap 20 dollar "defy" gloves over the last few years. 20 dollars but have a 50 dollar quality. Anyways I say buy whatever gloves. As long as they protect you, that's all that matter. If they don't last long, well they are cheap so you can buy more easily lol. Also I like all the different cosmetic options.

8:25 used this glove, Boon Compacts, Fairtex BGV1, and the Rival $80-$90 gloves (don't remember the name) I'd recommend the Boons for an under $100 glove, there's something about them, everything is 'correct' on the Boons. 145'er w hands sized medium + skinny wrists train MT/MMA.

Enjoying your reviews . Is there anything you can say about buying gloves for young fighters - 8-15 yrs . All the kids doing thai want twins mostly because their instructors use that brand but being a parent that has to finance 2 boys training 5 days a week , is there any brands that you would recommend for that amateur level ? Cheers from down under ?

Hayabusa boxing gloves designs are amazing, but they have textures. the textures are legal? In my opinion, the textures are a danger for the boxer because they can cause unnecessary cuts.

Excellent point. So many people want to borrow but never buy their own. Would you share trainers/sneakers with somebody at the gym? And yet you always get those freeloaders who want to put your gloves on and they don't even have wraps on. These users are to be avoided at all costs.

Velcro on the winning is the worst I've ever used. The velcro is paper thin flimsy shit. Its pretty much mandatory to heavily wrap your wrist or have your trainer give you professional wrap but if you have that good of hand wraps on then any glove will be safe enough for your hands and it defeats the purpose of the velcro gloves which is speed and ease of use. Lace up winnings are worth it, but most people don't need or use laceups anyways.

Just got the T3 Crimson LX Shin Guards in small and just tried them out tonight. I think thats basically the main difference between the T3s Vs Hayabusa/Kanpeki is basically that the latter are made with "full grain" leather. thats basically the main difference between the gear. But I do have a good thing to say about the shing guards so im actually going to buy the gloves to match. my first impression was that they are almost flat upon receiving. There is NO rigidity on the shin guard and when I saw in the mirror, I saw they are so wide its hilarious. When it came to actual practical use, I notice that it lacks heel protection but the foot and instep protection is AMAZING. they are wide currently so it does feel odd to break in. One thing I noticed it that it had silicon dots on the inside and it really DOES highly resist slipping. I only adjusted my shin guard once. but basically if they went so far to think of a ton of features to add to them, then I think they are worth the money - If you have it to spend on it. I still prefer my fairtex SP8 or 7 or 9 forget the model. the one with detachable foot gaurd, and they are like 80-110$ after taxes and shipping.
