Extremely well made so far . Love the homing attacks at 0:22 . However , the rebound at 0:10 from the spike ball is Painfull . Should make Sonic trip over it like in Advance 2 while the rings get sliced off from behind .
It's just science, the transmission of kinetic energy from one object to another. nothing very complicated. I'm still working on it, and if you're worried about it, make sure you don't hurt moving heavy weights or missiles, because not only does it send you very far, but it takes you back almost a fifth of your health! (And also a fall too high could kill you if you don't have any rings.) Rather punitive I know, that’s what I’m aiming for. << Realistic in his physics but imaginary in his world >> Sonic Frontiers almost did it, but I was a little left wanting. In the end, we could say that I made this game mainly for myself... If I released this game according to the fans' criteria, we would just have another repetitive and boring Sonic fangame. (Yeah, seriously, we already have Sonic Dimension, Sonic vs Darkness, Sonic of the Ring and many others... I don't plan on messing with these behemoths, as I'm only a small "Re"programmer. ) Brief ! @@kemnnardinofthering7254 That's really respectfull , and it makes sense for some change in gameplay and physics . I'm tired of fangames trying to be the next Advance or the next Rush (the next Unleashed 2D fr) , and not tryna do some exciting stuff like Inertia or a half-baked combat system.

this level design it's very nice, u don't need help.
I noticed a glitch: While running without a boost the legs kinda go crazy but when you use a boost it just feels... slow? (Edit: I can help you with the sprites if ya want) Pretty much adjust the boost speed or double it 🤷♂ Double it and give it to the next person 😏
it's just an oversight. I can fix it whenever I want. But I have more important things to do.

Also I think there should be 2 game styles : - Boost (What your doing now already) - Momentum (No Boost + Increased slope physics) . The sprites in my opinion are too well made to be shrunk like a block , so Camera - Zooming should be added . Otherwise the gameplay is sick .
Inside there are 3 game modes. Boost: as you have seen, there is already the boost mode but I revisited it in my own way. Momentum (Adventure): Here the game style is focused on platforming like Sonic Lost World. Battle: Two words, "Sonic Battle", focused on combat. If all goes well, a demo should be released in SAGE 2024. Yeah, I know, it's far... But at least, there's already a demo of an old version available now if you want.
