My father Repair Outbound Motors in his Garage. He made a wheeled from to mount and water test them. He used an old metal large garbage can filled with water.
Has somebody who does welding on trailers and trucks and heavy equipment, please don’t say well downhill with a light small welder. You have zero penetration it’s a weak weld and something that’s on the highway with a loaded trailer like that and it fails you could possibly kill somebody. Practice practice practice you’ll get there where you can weld uphill and it won’t drip on you.
The guy is an animal… no gloves welding. I’ve done plenty without long pants or shirt, but gloves is a must for me
They dont make gloves that fit our hands, I've never welded with gloves cause I cant find any

No locks incase your jack fails? 2 2x4 cutoffs with a few birds mouths attached by the legs with the jack would be simple to install. You would have to hold them up with paracord or something to lower the table, but they'd automatically would lock in place. The 2x4 cross member the jack is butted up against would be what the birds mouths would catch on. This is pretty cool. I'm think I'm going to try this.
I usually place a 2x4 vertical on each side and set it down on them, I really should make something better to simplify the process, but I'll see if I get around to it
@KanisMechanical oh i get it. I'm always playing catch up. If i think i have time for something, something else is going to come up. Plus if it works, it's hard to put other things off to modify it. I know I'm not the only one who has temporary fixes that end up being permanent
That tip is false, welders do upward vertical welds all day long. Never have anything "drip" 🤣🤣🤣
