Inclusion of a sponsor causes a shakeup in the usual musicradio top of the hour sequence, causing 77 to pull out a newer (well, as far as WABC's remaining jingles go) JAM jingle to avoid using the chime twice in one sequence! #musicradio77 #wabc #nycradio #jamcreativeproductions #jingles

I don't think this clip of jingles is bad. A mashing WABC jingles from the past with some modern stuff added.
Yeah no, it's not bad, I'm just suprised because the top of the hour sequence is usually always the same every time so it threw me off

I remade it myself If you download any type of Futura font and have a general know-how of Kapwing, PowerPoint etc. It's rather easy to do

i want wcbs 880 back right now and the way the station was,since the change i feel worse about radio. i also have some recordings on tape asspecially 1988,89,91 and late august,97,and iwould like other different dates and years from wcbs 880.
The stations that carried Limbaugh's show used to do fine.

WCBS FM is the only radio station with the WCBS callsign in New York after its sister am station WCBS 880 shut down.
The realities of am radio and the broadcast media landscape have made this change unavoidable.
TJ 98.7 is a temporary format for what was formerly WRKS as Emmis has put the station up for sale.
Now I feel really bad for WCBS 880 Radio. I hope WABC Radio is still on the air...

wonder if audacy will flip more heritage news and info stations in other cities, like KYW and Wpht in Philadelphia, kmox in st Louis, kdka 1020 in Pittsburgh and so on, could those stations i mentioned be gone
Those cities only have one news station owned by Audacy, those aren't going away anytime soon
