If the base and def is a little more spread out go with hogs. If the def is really tight go rage gem. I dont like the rocket spear either unless youre using recall to bring the rc back in to clear some backside def.

“Not exactly the best combination of equipment” pretty sure rocket+boots is the best or second best, hogs+boots is good too. Worst by far is haste+boots, I don’t get why people think it would be good. You preferably want to stand for 4-6 seconds on a building for your aura to destroy it. The health regen, extra dps and hp is a direct upgrade from the shield, the only times you’d want shield over boots now would to snipe a sweeper or something specific
